First time visiting. Went through the drive thru. Our meal was very tasty and we loved the fries and onion rings. Staff knew we were new and went out of their way to make it right.
Nice clean little restaurant. I had a veggie burger and my daughter had the deluxe. The veggie burger is very average as far as taste goes. Like most vegetarians, I've tried just about every veggie burger out there and it takes a lot for one to specifically stand out. But that aside, everything was fresh and well put together. Cole slaw was great. Cheese curds were pretty good too. Overall, a good experience.
The food is good. The burgers were highly recommended but we found them to be good, but not really exceptional. The service is good especially considering how busy this place always is. I love that they're so allergy conscious - we have serious food allergens in our family. We regrettably did not try the custard but are looking forward to trying it in the future!
This is a new restaurant so we thought it would be a good idea to try it. Granted this was after church and I understand them being busy. The landscape was nice, tables inside was nice, and the outside setting was great! The cashier took my order around 12:20 and she was friendly and knowledgeable. We found our seat outside and 50 minutes later got our food. There was 4 in our party. I ordered chicken fingers. When the food was delivered it looked like someone took a bite out of one of the fingers. The mashed potatoes were cold and was not seasoned. The other food was okay nothing spectacular.Some of the things I noticed while there. Extremely unorganized, very slow getting the food out, no manager checking on the customers. Also another customer commented they were waiting 45 minutes then decided to leave. It took another 10 minutes for them to get a refund.Freddy’s is much better!Employees need training and leadership to keep the doors open. Good luck!
I am ecstatic! I moved back to AL 6 years ago from Colorado and Culver's was definitely something I missed. There was a franchise around the corner from where I worked and I probably ate lunch there 3 times a week. Their menu is so varied I never got tired of their food. I recommend the butterburger, the onion rings, the cod, the chicken and the salads. A cranberry - pecan salad and a hot fudge sundae is my idea of a balanced diet. Even though I live in Huntsville I'll definitely be a regular.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The burgers are absolutely delicious. The Crinkle cut fries are great. But, the strawberry shake is hands down the best I've ever had. After our first experience with Culver's me and my husband has been back several times. There needs to be a location in Athens.
These burgers are very good. Much better than Freddie's. Also the concrete's are great. I was not sure at first about custard but it is great. They get my order correct most of the time. This is my normal burger place to eat. If don't have sometime then don't go here since it is made to order. Always piping hot even when I get it home. It is a bit pricey but worth the extra money.
As fast food places go, Culver's is about as good as it can get. The variety is outstanding. The drive thru system minimizes wait times. The butter burgers are very tasty. The fries are on point. There are other sides if you're not in the mood for fries. The pretzel bites are great. The salads are edible if you're trying to eat healthier.But the custard is the star. Lots of combinations and the flavor of the day can be great.The service is always friendly and accurate. Great place for a quick meal or a sweet treat.
Terribly disappointed in my last visit. Wait times of up 35 minutes for a burger. Only to have cold buns. Everything else was good but not great. Would not advise coming during peak hours, or if you do come, just don't plan on doing anything important for a 1.5 hour window.Culver's has exceptional tasting food and service but that was simply not met at this location.
Culver’s is great. However, I’ve only given them four stars because they always seem to miss an item or items to give you. We were once served a raw burger but they quickly refunded the order when it was brought to their attention. The employees are very sweet and kind, orders are usually handled quickly.
