Good Waffle House, convenient to the hotels on University.Fast & friendly staff.
The food was great, BUT the server ( black girl with beads ) was so rude to the point where it’s like ‘you need to go home if you don’t want to be here’. We was ordering & she was like ‘ anything else ‘ & would roll her eyes when we would add something else, like Ma’am this is your job everyday all day until you get another one .
My waffle was so thin I rolled it like a crape, so I'm not going back anymore. It was great while it lasted. And there was a roach crawling on the back of the register but I had already ate my food
All the employees on duty joined together and decided to take a break... unanimously and simultaneously. I waited 15 minutes as instructed by employee. They never came back to work, I waited an hour collectively at the Jordan and university location and the boardwalk location. Both locations were united on the matter of not serving the customers. No orders were taken or fulfilled. I am sorely disappointed. You must do better if your gonna satisfy the customers and ultimately have continued and repeated business from those of us who contribute to your revenue.
On a whim, I u-turned on university and went back for a favorite splurge of mine. Breakfast out. I ordered 2 scrambled chessy eggs,bacon and hashbrowns. Coffee to top it off of coarse.Some how I felt the urge to do something more than just enjoy my meal alone so...I paid for a few meals. The waitresses brought me tickets & I'd pay them. Just small amounts you know,except the 3 boys at the counter. They looked like a goid meal would do them good.Paying it forward is what it is. Small works that no one but you know about. Help a neighbor--without being paid. Extend yourself and like the grinch, you'll feel your heart grow 10 times lighter.
Why is it everytime we come to this particular Waffle House it’s closed and the doors are locked? If a restaurant online states that it’s suppose to be 24hrs but the doors are always locked that’s a problem. Change the time online if they close at a certain time.
Will never Come back. Came around 3:00 they said they (THE ENTIRE TEAM) had to take a break closed the whole store for over an hour in the middle of a rush. Was told the wait would be 15 mins. Highly dissatisfied
Food came out hot, fresh, and fast. Waffles were tasty. The floor and tables needed a good wash but the food was worth it. The line cook was friendly and professional and he seemed to be running the show keeping the others on task. Even though we were from out of town we felt welcome and would come back.
15 minutes to get coffee. Finally other waitress got me some. Over easy eggs raw on one side. Seven staff busy but chaotic. Won’t be back.
I give it a one because we had to wait 3 hours for a cook so the waitress decided to cook our food we were so grateful the food was great
