Visited on 4/1/22. Love the open setup. Can enjoy the weather and still be inside. Food was really good. Only bad thing was location of the restrooms. There are tables close to the men's restroom entrance. The server was great. Recommend trying if you're in the area.
"You had me at Apple candied Bacon...!"Met an ol' college buddy for lunch and wanted to find one of Huntsville's unique, downtown eateries.I had seen The Martin's upstairs "Bistro and Bar" from their open 'garage' door window from across the street at the VA office.Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event from.I ordered the "Marti" BLT...and can now say it's the best BLT I've ever had; Apple candied Bacon with fried green tomatoes, with guacamole and topped with a fried egg!Each bite brought a new and distinct flavor, which made the quite large sandwich, soon disappear.The bartender was also the waiter during lunch and did a good job taking care of everyone.If you're downtown and need a fairly quick but unique lunch, give it a shot.
Yummy food. Fried goat cheese balls with asparagus salad with balsamic vinegarette and honey rosemary dipping sauce, Diablo burger ( this would of been really good had it not been burned on the outside and really salty as were the fries) marg flat bread was really yummy as was the Mexican street corn. Really great atmosphere.
Nice atmosphere but very loud. Shrimp and grits was one of the best I've ever had. Wife said the grouper with asparagus was good too.
Drinks were good and food was delicious. Everything was a bit pricey. However the service was excellent! Will definitely go back.

In a great location with nice setup, but the hospitality is poor. Management is unable to handle the pressure of a busy day and will take it out on guests. Highly recommend Humphrey’s instead which has an outstanding staff, great food and drinks, great outdoor seating with space heaters, a big TV for big games centered for every table to view, plus great speakers. Only a few steps away from Martin and if that doesn’t do it for you… Humphrey’s is cheaper. Also fun fact, the owner of The Bottle, top restaurant in HSV, owns Humphrey’s. So even though it’s not as upscale you still get great food and service. Five star for Humphrey’s.

Big fan of the Martin for casual cocktails and delicious eats. Never have been disappointed with the food here. The grouper is great and the Cajun shrimp pasta is the best thing on the menu!
Best bar in town. Ryan and Nick are the sweetest most handsome men in downtown Huntsville. Definitely recommend coming here!
