If you’ve been thinking about eating at The Juicy Seafood...DON'T! Not only did they try to scam us with bringing my mom not even half of what her order was supposed to be, but there was a live bug in her salad and my bowl of gumbo was 85-90% broth. Then the icing on the cake was when the manager asked us what we were going to pay for after we said we weren't paying for my mom's food since it wasn't what was on the menu.For reference my mom ordered the one of their specials that was $30. Supposed to be 1/2 lb snow crag legs, 1/2 lb shrimp with no heads, 1/4 lb sausage, 2 eggs, a corn and 2 potatoes. What she got ended up looking like it all weighed maybe 1/2-3/4 lb, the two potato's were tiny.The only good thing was our waitress, she was wonderful. We tipped her and left.
Went with some friends on 30 April, I called ahead a couple of weeks to reserve a table for 12 people. When we got there, our table was ready. The service and food is excellent. Thanks for a delicious experience.
The food is delicious, fast friendly service. It doesn't feel crowded even though they are very busy. They also have Dungeness crab done right it's not on a lot of seafood restaurant's menus.
Excellent place for seafood! The staff is very attentive, service with a smile, and the food is outstanding! I recommend a dozen raw oysters with all the fixings. I also had the fried shrimp and cajun fries! You won't be disappointed!
We used to save this place for guilty pleasure for a crab leg binge. Today will be our last visit. I literally heard two women fighting with obscenities flying. The waitress was “f-bombing” as well and didn’t realize we could hear her. I would not consider this place family friendly. We were passed over from being seated because they accidentally crossed our names off and placed two other families ahead of ours. We were sitting directly in front of them. We were finally waited on. Served with out silverware.Our server was actually polite, however the table and chairs were not clean because my spouse sat directly in some mystery liquid. The food finally arrived, which was decent. Unfortunately, the event, drama, and unnecessarily rude tall blond waitress with tacky remarks about guest was too much. I hope the clientele and staff improve, this place had promise. I would not recommend coming. Food is decent, keep your standards low for atmosphere.
The food is absolutely delicious - I had a boil with crawfish, snow crab, and green mussels. Everything was cooked to perfection (easy to remove from shells), and so tasty (juicy style, hot seasoning). Really, really good flavor. We also ordered a couple of fried items (shrimp, pickles), which had very good breading and texture. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is atmosphere/service. Decor made me feel like I was in the crab trap myself, service was slow, and the beer was flat. But man, very good seafood!
Very good seafood! Better than Red Lobster for the price. Service was great! We'll be back!
I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but this wasn’t it. The food here was FANTASTIC! the raw oysters were as good as they are at the coast. The shrimp, clam, and octopus boil ( Cajun, hot) was very tasty, but if you like spicy food hot isn’t very hot. The gloves, bucket, Louisiana hot sauce packets were just over the top! What an experience! Our waitress (Jena?) was extremely attentive, very kind, knowledgeable, and played with our kids, which they really enjoyed. We will definitely be back!! Thank you ??
Great time with food and family. They accommodated our group of 11 for a late dinner, even took pictures for us.
