This was my first time eating there, and I can guarantee you that I will be back as often as I can! If you have ever tried pizza made with the original old-country Italy recipe then you probably know what I'm talking about. The crust, the sauce, and the mixture of cheeses tastes like absolutely no other. There is a huge amount of toppings to choose from as well. They also serve pasta, stromboli, hoagies and different traditional Italian dishes. The decor is very authentic Italian bistro and the general ambiance is happy and relaxed. They were extremely busy when I was there but my server did a wonderful job of taking care of us and making sure we left happy. If you are an Italian food Lover or curious about it, I guarantee that The Boot will spoil you for anywhere else. I strongly recommend this place for a lovely experience!
The pizzas were delicious. I ordered pepperoni, mushrooms, black olive, and sausage 12 in pizza and my granddaughter ordered a specialty pizza, Philadelphia cheese steak pizza. I ordered a slice of the homemade Tiramasu to go and was disappointed to see how little a piece for $6.99. Literally on the smallest plastic container there is. The service was good. The place is a little tight but it was well spaced.
You'll be surprised when you drive up to this Pizzerias. But once you go inside you will definitely find it to be a GREAT place. The interior is very nice and the food was amazing. I got the Philly Cheesesteak pizza and I was impressed. The wait staff was very attentive and accomidating to our needs. For a good pie it's a must go
Got the Po Boy Shrimp Sandwich. It was awesome. A little pricey but a great atmosphere. Beer selection was fantastic and server was quick and generous. Last time I was here was over 7 years ago. Will be back.
I heard good things, saw a bunch of five star reviews so I thought I'd go today for my birthday. Upon entering I saw the bar was doing good business, and surprisingly the music playing was rap. It didn't really vibe with the kitschy Italian decor but I didn't sweat it.Appetizer was rich, but bland. My friend ordered a ricotta and spinach pasta dish with meatballs. It was overwhelmingly flavored of allspice and nutmeg, and gave the impression of a pumpkin-pie transformed into pasta. The meatballs were even worse. This was certainly the most bizarre plate of pasta I had ever tried.I had ordered pizza margherita myself, and what came was a cheese pizza with olive oil drizzled over the top. It was tasty enough, but not a pizza margherita by any stretch of the imagination.I'd be more forgiving if it wasn't for how uniquely terrible the pasta is and how overpriced the food is. You might as well go to Olive Garden or Carabba's, because the price will be no worse and the food may be better. If you rely on nostalgia goggles and miss some bygone years of greatness this place may have had, I'm sure you can squeak out enjoyment. But for any first-time goer, skip it.
The Doordash driver botched our order and brought us someone else's food. The Boot went above and beyond to make it right, even driving the food to us themselves when the driver returned to them and refused to deliver the order. Great food and great people. Thanks!
Had the lasagna and it was amazing, will be back. Staff was friendly and service was good. Only thing is could use a little more bread lol...
Excellent pizza if you like thin crust, New York-style pie. Slightly greasy and so delicious! Plus the atmosphere is friendly and fun, as a neighborhood pizza place should be. The menu has lots of other interesting offerings which I always notice but never order because the pizza is that good. Someday I will try the lasagne and bellied eggs and the eggplant parm.. I definitely plan to keep going since any place that makes it easy to order take away with a 3 yr old in tow while there's not an empty chair in the house AND they have delicious pizza is a place that has won my heart and my loyalty. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
Definitely a hidden gem ! The place is so cute on the inside , very homey feeling . Food was to die for . Very fresh and quality ingredients. Service was amazing also . I’m sure I’ll be back soon !
Great food and great service! We got the smoked brisket(?) pizza and the bottomless pit pizza and they did not disappoint! My husband is a meat lover and the bottomless pit was his favorite. Highly recommend if it's in your price range!
