IMHO the original five stars is an inaccurate rating unless you get the food for free... White food truck that sits at the intersection Long and Triana Blvd in Huntsville. In the spirit of true transparence, the food was very tasty, hot (temp) and well presented and it really should be rated as a three and one half (3 1/2). I base that 3 1/2 Star Rating on the fact the protein portions seemed rather small compared to other establishments. Additionally, I was taken aback by a $2.50 each price for a very small street taco. I'm sure they will improve with time, or at least I hope so. I will give them one more try in a bit. Call in orders are doable.
If you like being frustrated because employees don’t understand English, very long wait times aren’t long enough, and your food order is consistently wrong, then use this establishment’s drive-thru service.....guaranteed to ruin your day if having a good one.
Exelente servicio además buen sazon
We have been enjoying this establishment for over a year and were happy to have a place to enjoy Mexican food in our town. We have lived in other states before we retired here and we were very happy with their food. But in the last few months we have been very disappointed with their food. They used to serve some of the best burritos in size and taste. Now their burrito size is very small and their ingredients are different. Also the service we got the last few times there was very different. You have to check your order before leaving the drive up window to make sure you got what you ordered. Our last visit we had to return the food (terrible) and requested a refund. Not sure if under new management or the pandemic has affected this business. In any case, we will not returning to this establishment.
So well rounded Tex-Mex menu. Their food makes this place different from the many local and national chain places. They had really good service and clean atmosphere. Good place to visit for a quick meal at a reasonable price.
I love their egg and chorizo breakfast burrito. Not a green Chile place if you’re looking for “Pueblo” Mexican food. This place is a more authentic hole in the wall Mexican fast food type place, street tacos etc. They have a drive through and seem to do a lot of to go orders. I’ve had the bacon breakfast burrito as well which was decent, but I’m telling you go for the chorizo, the way the cheese melts with it is really good. Make sure to grab a couple of different hot sauces to eat with it. My picture doesn’t do it any justice.
Great Food and Reasonable Prices. Love the "Mini" Street Carne Asada Tacos. Best Salsa Bar, Always Fresh.
My husband and I both got sick after having taco salads several months ago. Won't be giving them a second chance.
I picked up two mixed burritos (shredded beef, beans, and chilis), and two ground beef tacos. Fantastic! Good flavor, good portions, and very good salsas and pickled veggies. I grew up with Southern CA and San Diego hole in the wall Mexican food. This restaurant is a find!
I just went through drive thru and ordered carnitas plate with no cheese. The girl said there is no cheese in that dish. I drove to the pick up window and paid. Waited about 5 minutes and a guy handed me the bag. I said, no cheese, right? He said no cheese. So I drive home and am chowing down. As the food cools a little I see that the refried beans are loaded with cheese and it is like stringy refried beans. So now my stomach hurts and it is because of the cheese they stirred into the refried beans. Luckily I am only lactose intolerant so no severe allergic reaction. Probably dont trust the establishment with allergy issues.
