Service was slow, took 10 minutes before our waitress even came to our table to take drink orders. Food was mediocre at best. The dim sum dumplings were the most flavorful experience. Spring rolls were okay. Tiger Cry was too salty and overpriced, "Thai Noodles", aka Pad Thai (I've never been to a real Thai restaurant that didn't call it Pad Thai, since this is a signature Thai dish...), was too watery not flavorful, and not spicy at all even though I requested it. Dessert was okay. Wouldn't go back here.
First time in Huntsville and my friend and I thought we would give the Asian food here a try. I was excited to try Surin due to the good reviews and amount of stars but am sad to say I’m pretty disappointed. First off no one came to wait on us, we saw waiters and waitresses helping others and delivering their food so we knew there were plenty of employees working. After waiting about 10 minutes some nice woman finally came over to ask if we’ve been helped. And then the food came out and my entree of $25 was too salty and my friends pad Thai dish was runny and too sweet. The food here is NOT worth the price! One star for the nice waitress who came to help us, eventually.
Our party of 6 was seated quickly! They were short staffed but our waiter was so kind and worked so hard! The drinks ? were delicious, as usual. The food was really yummy. I had the veggie delight with chicken and an order of spring rolls. The sushi ? my friends ordered was so perfect!!! We will be back, Surin is a staple of goodness!!!
Well I have been here several times, I have had different dishes that are wonderful. Also the martinis are over the top. Always enjoy the atmosphere beautiful.
Enjoyed dinner here on a Friday evening. There is plenty of dinning room space so we did not have to wait. The food was wonderful. I had the one of the curry dishes (a mild one) and it was delicious. I would go here again.
Gosh, I love the food here! It's a long drive for us, so we only get down 3 or 4 times a year. Their food is consistently good, service is consistently bad. Today's occasion was my birthday. Our waiter's lack of interest was so obvious, I wondered why he bothered to come to work. At NO point did he spend more than a few seconds at our table & this was after I mentioned it was a special occasion. Food was cold, martini came as we were almost done eating & dessert was not offered. I had to call him back to ask if it was OK for us to order dessert. So, to the server that had the couple in the back booth, that still tipped 20%, please know, you could have made our day a whole lot nicer, if you just had stopped by once to check on us. I am being nice by not naming you.
This place is the best! The staff rocks and the food is amazing. Best martini.
