I had reservation and was seat immediately. I ordered the Banana Pudding French Toast, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a Mimosa. The waiter forgot my mimosa, hash browns, and eggs. I reminded her, and she just gave me the mimosa, hash browns, with my French toast. My kids had waffles and pancakes. The portions were very small for the price. Food was good but the service wasn’t great. Again, a small waffle with decorations on the plate will run you at least 12.00. That doesn’t include anything else. I’ll go one more time with my wife for the experience and to support a black owned business.
My wife and I had our first lunch there today, and I can promise it won’t be the last. Food was fantastic and our waitress, Asia (spelling?) was really friendly and attentive. We both had different burgers and both had a little pink in the middle (medium) like we prefer them. As an appetizer we had the bang bang cauliflower, and OMG, they were amazing. Looking forward to trying breakfast there on Sunday, the menu looked great. Only down side was that the interior didn’t live up to the name other than a few poster, otherwise it would have been an easy 5 stars.
Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Had reservations and was not seated for an hour and a half after reservation time. The food and drinks were slow to arrive and some never arrived. Check was not split between the large group, after explaining the split of couples twice. The food was not great. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment until after the “New Restaurant Obsession” is over.
We really like this place. The food is fun and interesting and the decor is so cool. The food has been mostly consistent but of course no place is perfect. I will say we’re not fans of the very loud live music played inside on most weekends. It’s so loud you cannot hold a conversation which is not enjoyable. We plan to visit outside of those times from now on.I love the breakfast potatoes, candied bacon (though last time it was floppy and undercooked- some people may like it that way but I’ll ask for crispy bacon in the future), and the French toast appetizer is so so good! Can’t wait to try one of the waffle sandwiches when we go back.

I ordered their Chicken & Waffles. The chicken is not fresh (from frozen). Waffles are greasy. If you are craving for and want a really good Chicken & Waffles, go to Metro Diner.
Really good food staffing could be better but good food overall
I got the phenomenal strawberry pancake and hash browns. I plan to try something new each time I order. The menu is unique & the presentation is as good as the food.

This review is for their new location on 903 Old Monrovia Road in the same shopping center as Stars and Strikes. I haven’t eaten at their food truck before and this was my first experience at their location. I understand that they are still in their soft opening phase, and I took that into consideration while writing this.The setting of the restaurant was on point! There were classic comic book posters from both DC and Marvel with BAM! And POW! action theme throughout. The only downer was the music choice. I was expecting to hear superhero music, but what we got was R&B. The naming of the dishes were creative and lived up to their names. I personally got the Hulk. It was served with bright green waffles, eggs, candy bacon, and sausage. The sauce that was drizzled over it was their Maple Heat which has a little kick to it but is not overwhelming. My wife got the Sub Zero pancakes. They were beautifully stacked with blueberries throughout the cakes. It was served on a dish that seemed been put in the freezer to add dramatic effect. The only downside to it was the fact the plate was so cold, it cooled the pancakes too quickly. My suggestion would be to place something between the plate and the pancakes to stop them from getting cold. My child had the kid’s meal that came with half of a red waffle, eggs, and candy bacon. While the food was fine, it came out much later than my food and my wife’s.
