The foodnis as usual very good. You get what you have come to expect. However, I don't think I would take a group in, large family, as the ordering is all done at a kiosk. I think getting a number of individuals to make orders would be dicey, but that's me. There is NO wait staff!
Had the. Garlic burger - didn't disappoint, especially after a late flight and a long day. Wish portions were slightly larger, but it'll do. One star off because it was one of SEVEN drive thrus I visited during my 90 minute lunch where I received no lunch because the lines for this place, burger King, Panda Express, McDonald's, Wendy's, taco bell, and some wing place next to a bowling alley we're wrapped around the building and going nowhere, or service was abysmally slow. I'd try here again though, the shakes and unique flavored burgers make it worth it, just not during lunch...ever, ever again.
No chicken tenders at this resturant. Brought the whole family who came from Florida we had to go somewhere else. They should have posted on the door they don't serve them anymore. Very upset we sat the handicapped people down and had to get them back up and out the door. Chili's has awesome chicken if you want good food and service.
I wouldn't recommend anything it's just not the same it was completely empty at 5pm. going to automated ordering my have been a big mistake. The burgers were still great
I used to love this place. But now they don't have any servers to even clean the tables! A wet napkin helped but I couldn't sanitize it.Then when my 'double cheese double steakburger' came out, there were more condiments on my burger than beef!! It was like 2 half-patties instead of the 2 whole patties of beef as advertised!! The only good part of the visit was the milkshake. That wasn't bad.Very disappointed!
We were in a hurry because of inclement weather so we simply got some of the 4/$4 specials. Some of the best food I've gotten out of Huntsville that didn't come from a sit-down restaurant. Loved it. Next time I come back I'll have to make sure to try some of your famous milkshakes.
Best hamburger and shake! pickles were crispy and it was delicious! I got the Cheeseburger with Bacon! So good! Strawberry shake was the BEST! Was better than most of the hamburger joints in Huntsville! Also the gentleman at the window was very nice and polite!!
First time I have been to Steak and Shake since they changed their service model. I don't like the impersonal service. You can no longer special order your sake with no whipped cream. The quality was not as good. Shake was thin and watery and burger meat wasn't near as flavorful as it used to be. Bring back the service and quality please!
This place is not deserving of the name Steak 'n Shake!! Ordered food from a kiosk. Took over 45 minutes to get our food from the time we placed our order. Food was cold and fries were overcooked and cold?! No one around to speak with. Tables were filthy, floors had food all over them. Staff worked at a snails pace. No soap in the bathroom either. This place needs to be shut down. Too bad I have to give them a 1 star. They don't deserve it!!
Food was very good. If they forget something on your order they are happy to get it for you and give you extra. Love the order electronic consoles and it was fun hearing singing in the back. Thanks guys!
