I had the steak and cheese with grilled onion sandwich. I have never tasted steak meat this bad The color of it was gray it did not smell like steak it had no taste whatsoever I have had many steak Philly cheese sandwiches in my life this by far was the worst. We drove from Birmingham to try this place out Don't know how the other sandwiches taste but the steak sandwich the meat was horrible!! Very disappointed.

I live in Atlanta now, but I have been going to Stanlieo’s since I was a kid (mid 1980s) and on a recent trip to Huntsville I had to stop in for a Kitchen Sink! Stanlieo’s is still the best sub joint in the world. The Jordan Lane location, which I believe is the original, looks about like it always has with classic arcade games in the dining room and the food is still fantastic. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. If you are passing through Huntsville you owe it to yourself to stop in for a Kitchen Sink or Steak Bomb.
The atmosphere was very lived in and cozy. You can tell they've been around for a while.The guy at the register was quick and sweet. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great.Im looking forward to my next visit ?

So really wanted to try the everything except the kitchen sink. With all the meat and cheese that's on it we thought would have been a bigger sub. Son said he enjoyed it but was a little disappointed.
This sub place is amazing! It is not like any other sub place I been to in Alabama. I tried the vegetarian Ruben sub and it was amazing the flavor was very scrumptious. This place doesn't get its flowers so here you are. Thank you for the amazing food and service.
The food was good, I saw they had fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms so I had to get them to split. The tomatoes came with 5-6 slices and the mushrooms came with 12ish mushrooms. I also got the kitchen sink sandwich which was good, but needed some mayo and a bit of salt. They've also got a pacman/galaga arcade cabinet that looked fun but I didnt get a chance to play a game.
Small place, only 3 employees. The gentleman that was taking orders had to step away to take a phone in order, so the lady working the grill asked for our orders. She made them all without a ticket and never missed a beat. Subs were good with plenty of flavor.
