Pulled up to Sonic in order to get a grilled cheese sandwich. I saw one male employee sitting on the bench outside on his phone. I then saw a female employee hand drinks to a nearby car. After about 5 minutes of waiting, the female finally came outside and asked me had I pressed the button. I told her yes and she asked me to push it again and then proceeded to take my order. I told her I wanted a grilled cheese and was then told they were only making drinks due to low staff. Really?? They're three employees there, one of which was just sitting there on his phone, and yet you're telling me you don't have the audacity to make a sandwich?! How lazy and incompetent are these workers that they would rather just sit there than to make a single sandwich for a customer. I know this store has become trash, especially with all the negative reviews, but they turned away countless sales just now and it's not the customer's fault for any of it. How ridiculous!
Ordered a mobile order on the way home. Got there, I couldn’t check in to tell them what stall I was at. I hit the button and told them what was going on, dude looked at my phone, and told me I never paid for it, laughed at me condescendingly and I ordered it again. Check my transaction history and I paid for it twice. Didn’t even get both orders. Recommend never coming here to anyone.
Service is absolutely awful and I love the franchise in general. This is just a really bad location! Im convinced the employees don’t work. Also, is it normal to stop serving ice cream 2 hours before close due to “we’re cleaning the machine to get ready to close”? What a joke! All the employees deserve to be fired immediately!
Today was a scorching hot day, but Charles was our hero! He promptly took my order and offered comforting and helpful service to me and my family! Our drinks were fresh, cold and delicious! Thank you for the fantastic experience!
This is easily one of the worst fast food restaurants I have ever been to. I've tried it 3 times now. I understand things happen due to circumstances out of employees control and am always willing to try a couple of times but at this point it's ridiculous. Usually it seems that only the drive through was being ran. The first visit we waited at the stall for at least 10 minutes with no answer before going through the drive through. There were a couple of employees outside and at least 4 employees that I could see inside with no customers in the drive through, which dismissed my idea that maybe they were short staffed. The next 2 times I attempted the stall instead of the drive through someone did actually get on to take my order but both times they were incredibly rude. The last time the employee was completely monotone, extremely impolite, interrupting the order that wasnt even finished *multiple times* to ask questions about things that we hadn't even got to such as drinks, or fries/tots and the tone of voice was so impatient and rude. I have experience in food service and retail and I'm always willing to give second chances and to be understanding and patient, but to consistently see these issues with no apparent lack of employees or other issues leads me to believe it's a staff problem. You're going to want to skip this Sonic.
5/28/22. 4:15 pm. We waited in the drive thru behind 2 cars for quite a while. 1st car pulled ahead, after a few minutes the next car just left. We got to the speaker and waited another couple minutes before the guy came on and said they were closed. I said I was just hoping to buy some ice. He told be to pull around if I wanted, but I'd be "sitting 10-15 minutes" before he could get to it. Another time, same guy, told us it would be about an hour to get food. Neither time did this place look busy. What is the deal with this place????
We ordered corndogs (was 50 cent corn dogs all day) and other food. Took about 30 minutes to get our food, but no corndogs! The woman who dropped our food off to our car didn't even mention that anything was missing. We hit the order button again and waited about 10 more minutes before someone came over the intercom and said that they had been out of corndogs since 5pm. He then came to our car and said that we should ask for our money back from the app (we ordered on the Sonic app). We just asked of we could get some hotdogs instead and he brought us some about 5 minutes later. Kids were upset the whole time.
dude how are you going to make me wait that long for the world’s most NOT GRILLED grilled cheese?? The cheese was old as my grandma and the bread crust actually made a crack when I broke it? stale bread might not kill me but I definitelyyyy don’t enjoy it. Short staffing was also definitely not the issue since I saw at least 5 people in there
Employees were friendly but seemed very disorganized. We had to wait probably 20-30 mins for some mozzarella sticks and a coke. Easily the slowest Sonic (or fast food place in general) I've ever been to, but the employees were nice and apologetic about the wait.
The food was really good. But most of all even though they were short-handed they were very courteous and polite. Even say that when it was ready instead of making us wait
