Ladies server was bubbly.. if you get one of the big chefs you winning they put on a great show and presentation... the food is standard flavor you would get at another hibachi spot.... I would have given higher rating if my chef would have at least interacted with us more... also don't come towards closing time

They are only getting a 1 star because they cooked my food in the back when I told them I had a seafood allergy. But the hibachi chief was very very boring. Not entertaining at all. No interaction with any of the patriots sitting at the grill. The waitress never got us refills, after we were given our soup (no flavor) and salad we didn't see her again until time to give us our checks. The waitress lied to my husband when he requested noodles instead of rice, she informed him they were out. But after I eat I went to the restroom and seen another waitress bring out noodles to another table. Shame on her for her laziness. We all ended up with diarrhea with in hours of eating. The vegetables where still raw and hard. The fried rice had no real flavor. Neither did my steak. My son in law said his chicken was over cooked. I also asked the other patriots at our grill how they liked there's and they all said the something. If you wanted a to go box tou had to get it your self. This was my first experiment with Shogun (have had other hibachi restaurants) and this will be my last. For the price and for being a hibachi you would expect some type of entertainment and customer service. Shame on you
Sat down at one of the teppanaki tables. Had filet and shrimp and steak and scallops. Chef put on a good show and the food was good. My steak was a little tough. Was not impressed with the salad dressing and the teriyaki sauce.
Even for a restaurant as nice as this, you still get your food quickly. The lines are long, but it moves fast and helps work up an appetite.The chefs are always a treat with their fun tricks and games they play while cooking your food.I've loved this place since I was a kid.
A previous review described the problem with a reservation not being honored. I encountered a similar situation last evening. Reservation at 6:30, not seated til 7:15, food at 7:45 or after. If I had know this, would have gone to a different place. Food was good, chef was good, but overall I did not enjoy the experience. The table was also too crowded. (Have been to Shogun multiple times before.)
I called a month in advance to reserve a room for my daughters birthday. I advised them I would have between 12/14 people and we would be there at 7:30 pm.They said no problem. Advised the price and booked the reservation. We got there at 7 o’clock and had to wait over an hour to get our table. It appeared that the reservation was never made.The table was dirty and the service and food was subpar. We were extremely disappointed!
Food was good, our Chef was excellent and entertaining. Only issue was the wait time once we were seated. Appeared to be short on chefs which increased the time but staff was pleasant.
Went in tonight at eight to eat, they don't close until eight and was turned around. The hostess is very rude and has been rude in the past and we kind of looked past it because my wife likes the food. The mens bathroom were very nasty also. We won't be going back.
