The Scene has really fallen off! The interior is so dated and the restaurant hasn't changed since early 2000s. The theater floors are disgusting and it seems they have an issue with flies and gnats. With all the new restaurants building up around Bridgestreet, you would think they'd be more proactive in updating the place.
The best movie theatre we have ever been to. The seats are electric recliners, and they have great prices on tickets. We payed $15 each to watch Jurrasic Park, and still were able to sit in the recliners. Awesome experience
$4.80 for a 16oz drink ?? Kids were given 12oz cups with lids and we were charged for adult prices and no refills due to "covid".... ridiculous
Love the Sushi. Management here is amazing. Krystal came and checked on us and was excellent with all the guest
Drinks at the bar are fine, but if you want to make a minor change to a sushi roll *can't eat tuna, so asked for smoked salmon instead) - Nope, can't do that. "Everything is pre-cut"... Umm okay so put Salmon on my Sushi roll instead of Spicy Tuna. Sounds to me more to the tune of: The sushi rolls are premade...Yuck
I went to The Scene for the first time last Friday and the manager names Erin was so nice and made sure there was no problems at all. Came and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals and overall she made the place such a friendly environment. 10/10 will be going back!!
The management was on point. She was friendly and very helping. I think her name was Erin. The food came out amazing, tasted great, and in a timely manner. 10 out of ten, I'd definitely recommend.
Had the best experience with Alexis serving me at the bar she truly went above and beyond
CAUTION: The Scene no longer takes reservations! So even though you make one on OpenTable, they won't know about it and won't honor it! Luckily for us they were not that busy. Another very strange thing, the Scene does not sell any iced tea to drink (neither unsweet nor sweet). First place I've ever heard of in the South that doesn't sell tea! They definitely aren't the place they used to be now that Cinemark owns them.
I came in sat at the bar, I got my drink order in & that was it . No one ever checked up on me so I can order food. This is the second time. Everyone around me was serviced, got checked up on. But it’s something about me I guess because they never allow me to order food. Even when I hint and ask for my check w/my one untouched drink they tell I am just fine to leave. . . Like at what point do you actually be concern that guest is leaving without anything being touched, or getting an order in?
