I had lunch with a friend at the Sbarro's in Parkway Place on Tuesday, 6/21/22 around noon. We went to the order area and was ignored. We moved to the cash register area to order only to be sent to the end of the line behind someone who walked up after us. The food was excellent, but the customer service was awful. The staff seemed like we were inconveniencing them by being there. I know in today's economy it is hard to find staff that wants to work, but they were down right rude and unacceptable!
Customer service is trash. Visited on 1/1/22; they were rude and condescending. I wanted a whole pizza for the family, however since they shut the oven off at 3:30 pm, at least 2 hours prior to closing, they wanted me to buy 8 pieces for a total of $40 vs $16.00 for the whole pizza. When I asked could he mix up the slices since he didn’t have a whole pizza and refused to put one in the oven, he got rude and aggressive and stated the only way I was getting a whole pizza is to buy 8 slices and pay $5.00 each. Of course I left, and will never come back. This was coming from a Manager. Very poor customer service.

It has probably been 15 years or more since I have visited (the Madison Square Mall location) and the burst of flavor I expected to experience was no more. I went to the food court specifically for this pizza slice but after the first bite, it was clear that I should have just grabbed a cheese slice from the Costco before I left instead of going out of my way to eat here.

On the side I do food deliveries for door dash and recently had a delivery here for a customer to pick up. I arrived and the order wasn't ready yet, which is fine I was there pretty quick, but my prime issue is that the order was wrong even still. I didn't know this prior to delivery because due to COVID-19 precautions and Door Dash's policies, I can't open the box to double check that I was told/given the correct order. So as with many other orders in the current day and time, I had to deliver it on blind faith that the employees of the restaurant fulfilled the order correct. A few minutes after delivering to my customer I received a message stating that they had ordered a cheese pizza since his wife couldn't eat meat, but was given a pepperoni pizza instead. The customer was very frustrated and 100% rightfully so. I understand his frustration completely as I would be very mad. This makes not only Sbarro's look bad but this also damages the relationship between door dash and a customer also, as well as my reputation as a dasher. I currently have a 5 star dasher rating and I take great pride in having happy customers. I hope the customer reaches out to sbarro's which I recommended they do and hopefully your restaurant will right this wrong for an unsatisfied customer. Unacceptable.
