We’d never had Indian before, so we were told to try ruchi. 10/10 would recommend. David was our server and he was super knowledgeable and recommended great dishes. The butter chicken and garlic naan were a definite fave. If you like lamb, theirs is so tender. We got extra naan to take home and will definitely be back for a date night or with the kiddos. Loved everything about it.

Update after numerous visit: The quality has gone down. Nothing like the initial Ruchi they've started at the original restaurant. Ridiculous turn around time for phone orders, and not enough parking space. They should've continued at the original spot.
Had dinner here tonight, my husband’s first time eating authentic Indian food. It is stupid how good our meal was! The service was beyond our expectations and for what we paid, we were more than compensated with a rich dining experience!
Tried it for lunch yesterday and all items ordered were quite tasty. Customization with regards to taste is available, but be careful of what you wish... We ordered the Mixed Vegetable Curry and a Dal Makhani with Garlic Naan. Restaurant apparently is opening up it's dinning room after being take out only due to the dreaded COVID! Apparently the process is slow and laborious. Our server was very informative and friendly. No liquor or beer is available at this time. Hopefully that will change with time... I do not want to sound like I'm nit-picking but the only distractor we had is that we ran out of Batsami Rice and expected to get more, even if you charged us for it, but nothing happened... It's your restaurant you run it like you want... We certainly intend to give it another try and hopefully get it to the 5 Star rating where it could/should be. Enjoy. Your results may vary.

Easily the best Indian food in Huntsville- The Butter Chicken (medium) with garlic naan and Gajar Halwa is my favorite meal of all time. The owner is kind and has gone out of his way to support the medical community and children of Huntsville through the Covid epidemic. The staff is all wonderful and the service is always great. We’ve never had a meal short of perfect!
Take-out currently offered. Food is tasty, especially the Lamb Vindaloo and garlic Naan. Try the samosas and the pistachio dessert. Definitely a regular, as long as the ingredients do not undergo a cutback. Ruchi does flavorful, wholesome ingredients—it is worth it. Recommend: Sam Chat appetizer, Samosa (any), Butter Naan. Want a healthy side of spice? Try the chili paneer w/cheese cubes w/ butter naan bread & mango lassi drink.
Always very good food when they were at Whitesburg. Food is still good, but butter chicken is only curry now. No chicken. Only a few small giblets in mine. I hope they get back close to what they were before. Great people, but cutting corners will lose customers including me.
