I ordered through door dash, and got my order, everything was good at first, then something stabbed me in the roof of my mouth.? Turns out there were pieces of sharp plastic in my tuna roll. I tried to call to let the restaurant know, but they turned there phones off at 8 pm on a Sunday. Beware of your food and the hospitality level you may receive. I think the people who work there don’t care about customer service!
This was my first time at Rock N Roll Sushi, and it was fairly average and mediocre. I walked into the restaurant and there was no one at the front counter, despite not being very busy. There was only one other person who was dining and was already eating their food, and another person who was waiting for a pickup order. A lady finally came and asked me if I was there for a to go order, I said no, and then she just walked away. I sat there for about 5-10 minutes until she eventually came back and took my order. The one plus about my visit is that the time of preparing my to go order was fairly quick, but I guess that was a given since I was the only person waiting for anything. The sushi itself was not amazing. I got the crowd surfer roll, and it was so overly dosed in oil that it was hard for me to consume. For a roll with "spicy" as its first descriptive adjective, it wasn't very spicy aside from the jalapeno on top, and leaned more towards the sweeter side. The tuna inside and on top was mediocre and was very skimpily sliced. I did enjoy the bit of crunch on the inside though. The rice consistency was okay, but maybe it was masked by drenching it in oil. Overall, they were right about this place being "American-style" sushi, as this was a far from authentic sushi experience. Go somewhere else if you're expecting great sushi. At least the price was decent.
Server was courteous, quick and checked on us often enough for me to not run out of beer. Sushi was good quality and environment enjoyable. I could hear myself talk and think as I was enjoying food with my girlfriend.
This place gets 5 stars for being great with food and great with regards to the staff being polite, and friendly. However they get 1 star for the wait time on the food and service. For starters, hostess stated in would be a 15 minute wait. Looking around at the packed restaurant and all the people already in front of me waiting I knew it would be more than 15 minutes. So I asked her “15 minutes really with all these people?” She assured me that the turnover was moving quickly. It actually ended up being more like a 55 minute wait and when we finally got to our table the waitress, although very nice, was overwhelmed and not very attentive. She took our order, brought the appetizer within 10 minutes but when our food arrived it was staggered with 5-10 minutes between everyone (4-of us) getting food. Then it took another 10 minutes to get utensils. It was a long long process; total time waiting and wrong was nearly 3 hours. I know they can do better ms the food really was good which is why I’ve rated them higher.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. The food was great, the atmosphere was cool, and the price was out of this world. Our server, Payton, made a couple of great suggestions that ended up being outta favorite sushi...probably the best combo of flavors we've ever tried. Definitely returning.
Nice place and atmosphere. Food was delicious and flavorful. Service was good and quick.
I visited this restaurant after purchasing the local Deal of the Week coupon. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A good place to try an assortment of sushi; especially with a great coupon from Deal of the Week.
My longtime friend from Texas was coming back to Huntsville to visit. I heard Rock n Roll Sushi was a good place. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. I was embarrassed that's the best I could come up with. The appetizer was fried lobster. I didn't know lobster could be so rubbery. The Sushi was so bad I couldn't believe it. The rice by itself was terrible. The rice should always be perfect. If you can't make rice you can't make anything. They deserve a negative 1 for a score.
We always enjoy coming here. New menu and new location, but still great sushi. We took our mom's here for the first time and they loved it
Not a sushi eater, but came here with friends. Their menu includes more than sushi and was fantastic. Will definitely come back.
