Just don’t! We went and were told they were out of shrimp. They even asked in front of us and they said yes we are out. We told them we were leaving and by a miracle they had shrimp. I ordered blackened grouper; guess what they don’t do that even though it’s on their menu. We were completely turned off by all of it. It sucked because this is what we were looking forward to our whole trip and it was a bust. Also their hours have changed and only open until 4.
Just left this place. We're here on a work trip and tries it because Google said it was one of the best restaurants in the area. Dear Google, I disagree. The grilled Grouper was actually good, but on the salty side. The service was POOR and that's enough for me not to spend my money anywhere, regardless of the food. The waitress seemed to have an attitude. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or if it's just who she is. She didn't introduce herself, so I couldn't tell you her name. She didn't refill my water or even ask if I needed a refill, but I will say she asked my coworker and refilled her drink twice. When she returned with our cards after paying, she handed my coworker hers and just left mine on the table. I'd rate the food 3.5/5. Should I return to Huntsville, I wouldn't go here. Perhaps If I "looked" like everyone else in there, I would have been treated differently. It's a NO for me.
Great, great food. They have been hit hard like everyone else from the pandemic. Out of a few things but the great thing about PBF is the next thing on the menu is as good as the previous. They are DESPERATELY needing help with servers as the servers are running to their max and one on our visit was about to leave it appeared, almost causing a scene. It did make for an uncomfortable time though but I can see why. The food is still quick, still amazing and hopefully they can get some help at servers soon. I wouldn’t mind paying $1 more per plate so they can get servers. Still won’t deter me from going either way. Highly recommend but expect slower service until people decide to work again.

Had dinner here for the first time in 5 years tonight, everything was so good. Our server was amazing and the restaurant was slammed! I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this happy being out to eat. I feel like I should add that we showed up about an hour before closing. Definitely will be back for that crab dip soon ?
I was disappointed not only with this this visit but the last 3. This restaurant has been around for a long time and has always been a "go-to." But in my opinion, it has gone downhill in service and cleanliness and food presentation. There's no excuse for the lack of cleanliness. I miss some of the good servers that are no longer there, Barb and Barbie. I had the blackened grouper dinner, and the entree was tasty, but the boiled potato was not hot, and the bread was cold. The bowl of gumbo was not horrible and came with 1 stale cracker pack, asked for more, and it put the waiter in a foul mood. I was saddened with my last 3 visits, so much potential for them.

First time ordering take out. Missing the side salad and bread listed on the online menu. No seasoning, mushy rice, large amount of canned tomatoes, little chicken, and no sausage in one order. Very disappointed.
The food was excellent, and very reasonable prices. The servers were excellent and the owner stopped by to talk. Not at all fancy, basic tables, bare floors and some Louisiana decor. But if you are looking for great food in a simple, friendly environment this place can't be beat.
Pulled to the restaurant and was confused as if it was really a restaurant because it looked like a house. When walking in the front door it definitely smells like fish that’s how we knew we were in the right place. My friend and I walked in. The waitress was standing by the front door pouring a drink. We stood there what seemed like 5 minutes and was not acknowledged. We spoke to her first then she said y’all can follow me to a table. We sat down and was brought menus. The restaurant was quiet no music no nothing. We decided to leave Izzy go elsewhere!
