They have really good fresh made tortillas but not listed anywhere on the menu?? Why hide them
We ate at Phil Sandoval’s for the first time today. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was great! There were 5 people in our group and everyone ordered something different. Everyone said their meal was great. My husband and I were very pleased to find a good selection of vegetarian items on the menu. The only thing I didn’t like was eating with plastic utensils, but I’m assuming this is only temporary for some reason. Hopefully they’ll have silverware the next time we go. I highly recommend this place.
Rude obnoxious person at greeting desk. She acted and talked like we were bothering her. Pathetic to have a person like that to greet customers. Won’t go back. I use to love this place. Sad.
Delicious traditional fare. Recommend the sangria margarita. Dinner topped off with soft serve

This place has a great atmosphere, and some good drinks for a decent price. The food is alright, with most of the stuff we have tried being good but not great. However the fish tacos are definitely an exception, they taste amazing. The staff in our experience has been very friendly, and the food brought out quickly.
Earlier tonight my fiance and I were door dashing and we picked up an order from here and it smelled amazing. So we decided to try it. We asked for the vegetable fajitas to be cooked well done, to make sure they were soft. They were not. So we just asked for 2 cheese quesadillas instead. The server acted like it was a problem. When he brought those out I went to ask for some more chips and before I could even speak he says. "Kitchens closed you can't order anything. What do you want me to do about it!" So I asked politely for more chips. The sign out front clearly says they close at 9:30. This was around 9. Google also says they close around 9:30. I feel like we were not treated very good. If I know they were closing so soon we would have went somewhere else. Very disappointed in our whole dinner experience tonight.
Amazing food. Eating here makes me not want to eat at any other Mexican restaurant or burger place. Because even there burgers are great. The chips are home made and you won’t find a better place to eat. The service can’t be matched anywhere else. Phil S. please put a restaurant in Hazel Green!!! You could easily take over this small town before it expands even more.
Best TexMex anywhere in North Alabama. My wife and I go here about every other week. Not only is the food great, but the service can't be beat. We have never waited more than 1 minute for chips and salsa, more than 3 minutes to be waited on, and never more than 5 minutes for our food to arrive after being ordered. You can watch the managers chip in when it gets busy and all the employees work great together. One of the best restaurants in all of North Alabama
We love Phil's and go here often to eat when we are in Huntsville. Yesterday we walked in early afternoon (2:45) with a group of 8 to celebrate my son's birthday. The hostess seemed somewhat annoyed when we walked in. We received subpar service....took a while for our waitress to take our order, including the cheese dip we wanted after taking drink orders. When needing refills on drinks, our waitress was nowhere to be found. The food was fantastic. We asked them to sing to our son...were told they did not do that, but could put a sombrero on him and whip cream in the face. Brought out a dessert (never asked for it) since we had cookie cake we brought in, but it was good. Shortly thereafter she brought the check and my husband promptly gave it back with his card. So, all was well and I was quickly taking pics of our table before we left. As I was doing this she rudely walked over demanding the check from him before we were even ready to leave. Of course, the service we have always received is excellent, so this was disappointing to say the least. We will continue to eat here because this is just one time of many experiences, but if you don't know you cannot fix it. I hope other patrons who received her as their waitress were not treatly as rudely as we were.
