I attempted to try this place, but the customer service was trash. Im not expecting red carpet to be rolled out, but at least greet a customer and ask to take their order. I see another review about bad customer, and their response was, "sorry we didn't satisfy your high standards". Well if giving good customer service is a "high standard", and not a natuaral thing to do as a business, then I sure don't want to do business there. I heard the food is good, but, Im not spending $ with someone that's rude.
Customer service was terrible. He acted like he was mad at me for wanting to order food at their restaurant. Jerk chicken was pretty good. Festivals are good. I didn’t get my cabbage like I was suppose to.
If you enjoy good island food then make sure they give you attitude and are dismissive. At least that's the stereotype. The food is good but the communication is terrible. Why ask me if i want a large plate, wait for my answer, and then when i say that's what i want they say they DON'T HAVE IT. Then WHY ASK??? One guy seems to hate his job, with the way he takes this time moving around. I get it, you had a long day. But customer service and appeal will bring you much further. It seems they only rely on their food being good, therefore they can behave any way they want.If you want good food, visit. Just hope they actually have what they advertise
I was afraid to eat it base on the appearance; it looked like old stale food nothing fresh about it.and his personally was very bad I was bringing him $15 and he acted as though he didn't care maybe that explains why nobody was there but me. Want go back Ever!!!!
Delicious ? customer service was fine. People under stand, in America customer service is very “kiss a**” in other countries it’s not like that. Overall the food was hot, fresh, flavorful, and it was ready within 5mins.
I'm searching for a Jamaican restaurant to try. I decided not to try this one due to the bad reviews about customer service. Just wanted to share so that you know you lost a customer and probably several customers because of these reviews.
Jerk chicken is great. But only curry chicken and jerk chicken was available. The owner has a chip on his shoulder. We went there years ago when his grandfather ran it and the vibe was so chill and happy. Learn to smile.
Authentic food with superb taste but maaaaaaaannnnnn that guy taking orders will make you want to never spend another dollar with them. No one is looking for extraordinary customer service but when someone says thank you at least say you’re welcome. He will literally make you feel like he doesn’t want to take your order or serve you. His attitude is dry & has probably ran away hella customers. PLEASE GET SOMEONE ELSE AT THE WINDOW.
Jamaican culture is different so you can forget about any southern hospitality. I don't go for the customer service, I go for the flavorful food.
This little mom and pop Jamaican food stand just blew me away. Their jerk chicken was so tender it broke apart in my fingers and had so much spice that I was truly in awe.
