This is a very clean an inviting restaurant. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and the pricing is very comparable to many other restaurants.We had a church group of 19 and they took very good care of all of us. With the help of several other waitresses, our food came out all at the same time. The selection is good. There is something for all who seek a pleasant dining experience. If you haven't been here before I highly recommend it. Judging by so many clean plates, I know the food was properly prepared and delicious.

I had a great experience dining at Metro Diner today! Tammy was great! She seated us and took our orders pretty quickly. She kept coming to check on us and made sure everything was good. Food was delicious too! I’d definitely come back!
Tammy knows how to treat her customers! I ordered Classic Eggs Benedict on Gluten Free Bun. The yolks and whites are cooked perfect and the hash browns are crispy and seasoned just the way I like them.

I have been hearing about metro dinner for a while. I was visiting a friend in Huntsville and she suggested this place for brunch. The food was absolutely delicious and you get so much for the amount of food for the cost. We all ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered a side of cheese grits. The waiter suggested we try their special sauce by mixing the hot sauce in the syrup. Definitely will try this place again if I’m in town.
We enjoyed our mid-week brunch experience at Metro Diner very much! The atmosphere is true to the diner experience, although a bit more Americana than the retro vibe I was somewhat expecting. Feels a little odd that it's in a strip mall, so it's a little bit tucked away - but all the locals seem to know about it. Menu is a good mix of traditional favorites - and a few offer a unique spin - like lemon blueberry pancakes! There's also a decent selection of non-breakfast items (at least at the time we were there). Coffee was good, food was hot & pretty fast, and service was friendly. Definitely would recommend and will likely return.

Took my wife here for mother's day. It was well worth the wait. They had the best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten. The manager brought me some flavored tea because they were brewing sweet tea. I will definitely get the mango tea the next time. It was an excellent suggestion from him. Can't wait to go back.
Metro diner is amazing! The atmosphere is the best, we sit at the bar and watch them cook and everyone is so friendly. The only restaurant I've ever been to that the workers socialize. JJ is absolutely amazing. We will come back again and again just because of him. Try Metro, the food is off the chart, fried chicken and waffles look amazing, the big breakfast was delicious, the Charleston shrimp is top notch! Go eat there! - Madison+Allison ❤️
