Great management. Great wine selection. Quality food.
We went in for a belated birthday celebration and was not disappointed! Pita, our server, was so sweet, friendly, and accommodating. The whole staff was very welcoming. The food was authentic and absolutely amazing. It was also cool to eat in a little historic part of Huntsville. Can’t wait to go back!
Incredible food, service and setting. Construction across street but you don’t notice once inside this historic house. Food was creative and very tasty. Will definitely be on the top of my favs list. ?
Great food, pasta and bread made in house, FANTASTIC staff! This restaurant is wonderful. It is located in a beautiful old home. Great dining experience.
Tonight was date night, something my boyfriend and I have been looking forward to all week. We were greeted with a really inappropriate comment by our server, which negatively set the tone for our evening. We ordered wine, salads, and dinner. Salad never arrived and the couple that was sat next to us after we ordered, received their food and we need never received ours. On three occasions, the server stated my salad should be out soon. We honestly couldn’t get past the upsetting comment, and we decided to just leave. I’m beyond impressed with how Brandon handle the situation. He was extremely apologetic and based on his reaction, I will give this restaurant another try. Brandon, thank you for genuinely caring about our dining experience.
we just ate there. pasta was sticky and chewy. no bread served with meal, we had to order bread. Got it when we were done eating and it was doughy. no parmesan cheese offered to us. slow service. I ordered shrimp scampi and my shrimp were way over cooked. we went with another couple and they mixed up our bill, it was a mess.
My husband and I went here for our 1st year anniversary dinner. We loved the atmosphere and character of eating in a historic old home. We ordered a charcuterie board, Camille's meatballs, shrimp scampi, and a canoli trio for dessert. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the taste of handmade pasta, which is a rare find in Huntsville. The charcuterie mainly had cheese and meats. It needed some more bread or crackers served with it. The portions of the entrees were on the smaller side, but very tasty. The wine was reasonably priced. I do wish they served complimentary bread. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and plan to come back for another special dinner sometime.
What a neat restaurant! In the old Humphreys house. Good Italian food. The lemon ricotta was fabulous. The rigatoni was good but it didn’t need chicken, just more pork cheek. Will be back!
Overall great experience, the food was decently priced and the wine selection was great. I had a the Italian flight, caprese salad, meatballs, and the chefs charcuterie. I would suggest getting a reservation, we didn’t but the bar and porch or open seating so we sat outside which in hindsight wasn’t the best option as our dinner lasted three hours because we couldn’t ever find our server to order. But overall would highly recommend Mazzaras for good Italian food.
I've visited several times now and thoroughly enjoyed every experience. This is the best Italian restaurant in Huntsville today. Parking is a little sketchy since the city tore down the garage to rebuild, but this place is soooo worth it!
