The staff were polite, the food was good, but holy hell this place was filthy. Nothing indicates a cockroach infestation like sticky kitchen floors covered in bits of food, which was visible from the counter. The kid at the counter was dirty and wearing an old soiled hat. I'm going to come back soon and I'll gladly take this review down and put a 5 star review up if its clean.
The food was absolutely amazing! The staff was really helpful and polite even when we accidentally ordered right at closing time. Great value too! We will be back for sure!
While looking for someplace convenient to have a family dinner before heading to the Von Braun Center we noticed Johnny's Gryll. It was our first time to visit and the staff made us feel right at home with their friendly greeting. The service was good and our food was great!!! We had wings, shrimp, a patty melt, and a burger. There is nothing pretentious about this place. It is a 'come as you are' kind of local bar/pub. We look forward to our next visit.
The food here was absolutely amazing. First and foremost, the customer service here was great! I ordered The triple burger (w/cheese + bacon] and it was absolutely amazing! It was one of the best burger that I've ever had. I ordered some cheese sticks to go with it and they were also, some of the best mozzarella sticks that I have ever had. I also ordered a side of Cajun grilled shrimp, which was probably the only let down of my meal. The cajun flavoring was great, although the shrimp itself was a little bit chewy. Lastly, I had ordered some banana pudding and it was, yet again, some of the best banana pudding that I have ever had. 1st time here and I've got to say, it was quite amazing. Keep doing what you guys are doing.
Friendly service, and great food! The shrimp po' boy and wings are very good. I would've given them 5 stars, but the cleanliness of the table and floors left a lot to be desired.
Fantastic burger and even better service from the nicest folks in town. Can't wait to try the wings!
I had a burger, fries, and drink meal and it was tasty and filling! My only gripe was that the tables and the vinegar jar felt sticky to the touch! I suggest using fresh towels and hot water when cleaning the tables! Other than that, I suggest giving this place a try on your way through the Deep South!
Food was awesome. The service was good, and the atmosphere is really cool. I had chicken wings with honey badger sauce. Sweet and spicy. They also have good onion rings and fries.
Best burgers in town, in my opinion. I think it may be a smidge pricy, but I’d rather spend the extra money having fresh and quality food. Friendly staff. The food they present actually looks like the photos. Love this place for lunch during work
First time experience around 7:30pm on a Sat night. It wasn't super busy so we were able to get food for 9 people without much of a wait. Burgers were very hot/juicy. Regular fries tasted excellent and were warm but not hot. Sweet potato fries were outstanding - very hot with a great taste. Very laid back, casual place. Overall a good experience and will return.
