When to Jim and Nick's for dinner first night in town. The service was great and so was the food. The turkey with white sauce was outstanding.
The cornbread muffins and smoked turkey breast were delicious. The baked beans and mac & cheese were decent. The brisket didn't have enough seasoning and it was not tender. The greens needed to cook for another 30 minutes because the stems were crunchy. In fact, there were more stems than greens.
I'm pretty snobby when it comes to bbq places.This place has some things I enjoyed.All of the meat was super tender.The little breadbmuffin things are really good too.I loved the potato salad.The Mac and cheese is like any other you can find at places like this.Few things I wasn't a huge fan of. The bbq sauce that comes on it wasn't to my taste. The coleslaw was just OK for me. Nothing special.The meat was a little less flavorful than I'm used to.Overall it isn't a bad place, but it doesn't stand against any fast food bbq places I've had living in Oklahoma and close to Texas.Also our waiter was very nice.I do reccomend this place if you really do enjoy BBQ and are not as picky as I am.
White sauce is great on smoked turkey. Love the cornbread and sweet butter.
Delicious BBQ chicken and pulled pork. Sides were great, only the fries could have been more crispy. Friendly servers!
The ribs were excellent and the corn bread muffins were AMAZING! They add cheese and sugar to the corn bread making it sweet and cheesy. The brisket was VERY dry. Whenever I put my fork into the brisket, it would break apart. I also liked the coleslaw. They add enough mayo to offset the bitter taste of the vinegar.
Oh Man! I found my new favorite BBQ spot!
The ribs are second to NONE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY THEM. MEAT TENDER FALLING OFF THE BONE IN CHUNKS. DELICIOUS
Food was fantastic and the service was great. The cheddar biscuits were wonderful! I’d definitely recommend coming here!
It is so frustrating to stop for quick dinner, pay full price, and receive the bottom of the barrel garbage. This should have been thrown out. More than half the “meat” on my sandwich was inedible. What was edible was bland and greasy. We did not receive the deviled eggs we ask for three times when ordering. The macaroni and cheese was mushy and a bit on the dry side. One star since my boyfriends brisket sandwich was decent, although it was also dry.
