I fell in love with Indian food and just moved to Huntsville. I’m still developing my taste to the different spices. With that said, I’ve had weight loss surgery and can not eat a buffet. So one day I went in to talk to the owner to see if I could get a few items off the buffet and pay the buffet price. He wouldn’t even talk to me! One of the rudest people! He walked right past me 3 times while I was talking to the Hostess. The girl at the register said he won’t talk to you. WOW. So now I will get my good Indian food from Houston.
The best Chicken Tikka masala I have ever had. Lunch buffet is amazing but service is very slow. Best to grab your own water as we often have to wait 20 or more minutes for water. But the food makes it all worth it.
We were excited to try this place out after finding out the original chef from Ruchis was here. But disappointingly we found the flavors on the grand buffet a little lacking and didn’t really see anything that we normally wouldn’t find on an Indian restaurants Buffet. They may be trying to keep the things milder for all the guest but personally I think they’ve gone to mild. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant appeared to be clean and well taken care of.
We decided to give this place a try and it was not a good experience. We waited for over an hour to have our food served, but I can understand that everybody is short staffed.Second, the prices on the menu were not updated, and I believe it is deceiving not to put the correct price on the menu. Everything was overpriced; we paid a little over $90 for 2 peopleThird, we both got really sick after an hour of eating there.Fourth, the place smelled like there was a sewage leak, and it was really foul. This place should not be in business for hygiene reasons and wrongfully overcharging customers.
Fried Bindhi with peanuts, malai kofta, basmati rice all above average for restaurant food
My appetizer was very nice and spicy. But the meal was absolutely boring. I asked for it to be spicy and it was not. Everything looked good service was great. I'll give it a go some other time. But next time I'll ask for my food to be traditional with the spices.
84. 84! That was the health department score when we went there for the lunch buffet today. They say this is the same chef as when Ruchi's was here, but I dont believe it. The food at Ruchi's had spice and kick. The food on this buffet had no kick at all. So, I know order off the menu can be tailored to be as spicy as you desire. Maybe next time I'll give that a try. But Ruchi's buffet used to have plenty of kick, aroma and flavor. This not the case on this random wednesday. Kinda sad. I love spicy Indian food. But this buffet was disappointing. Other's seem to have figured that out as the place we almost vacant! Im cheering for you Ruchi's, but you need to do better!!
The food is incredible, but the drink situation needs improvement.I ordered the butter chicken, and my husband had the Lamb Madras and we were both quite impressed with our meal. It was easily the eat Indian cuisine we have had in the Huntsville area, however they have no fountain drinks or ice tea. They do offer bottles of cola, but only refillable option is ice water.

I’m not an Indian food expert but I hat I had was good. Decided to try something different. The set up is like buffet style they replaced the food as it gets low. The chili chicken and the lemon rice was my favorite. The only thing I didn’t like is a lot of ppl fixing there plate and a couple ppl had runny noses and didn’t wash hands before touching the utensils at the serving area that everyone has to touch.I would go back tho with caution
