I’ve been eating at I love sushi for around 10 years and have never had a bad experience or meal here. It is by far the best sushi I’ve ever had! The food is always delicious and fresh. The staff are friendly and attentive. I eat here at least once monthly but most of the time more than that. Everyone I have ever brought with me has loved their meals. My favorite items to order are: burrito roll, pink pleasure roll, viagra roll, volcano roll, chicken friend rice, sesame chicken, seaweed salad, miso soup, and ginger salad. Although everything I’ve tried has been fantastic! This will forever be my favorite restaurant!
Whole family loves nigiri sushi. We ordered two big plates of it. Every last piece was fresh and sugoi oishii! The place is expensive and we don't go often. But when we have reason to celebrate, ILS has never disappointed!
Donovan provided the best service I have received in a LONG time. The food was soooo good & fresh, & the cocktails were deliciously made with generosity, if you know what I mean.. ;) I highly recommend & will be back again!
Arrived on Saturday at 5pm and people were already waiting outside. Must be a good sign, I thought. I was wrong.Service: 3/5 stars- Server was attentive enough but was rushed; asked if things were okay as she was walking away from the table.Food: I can't comment on the sushi, but I ordered the sirloin steak in sauce and the avocado appetizer. The steak was doused in sauce and flavorless. It was just okay. The avocado with scallops and crab meat was a miss. Lacked seasoning and was tasteless. For $9 it was a waste of money. Miso soup was also diluted. Maybe I'll try the sushi next time? Maybe.Otherwise, overall review: GFA (good for Alabama).
Love note to ILS: I’ve traveled all around the eastern portion of America and I consistently try different sushi places in hopes to quench my thirst. I have yet to find a place that even gets close to the bar you’ve set. I’ve been going to I love sushi for years now and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. The food is so top notch, it’s no wonder everyone is lined up before you even open. This is my favorite love affair, but such a tragedy I can’t have you more often. Absence makes the heart grow fonder though. See you soon ?

Our favorite spot for girls' dinner out. Very affordable... especially for the portion size! The food is absolutely delicious, and I've always had excellent service. Their menu is quite extensive, so pretty much anything you could want is on there. Everything I've had tastes phenomenal. I don't think I've ever finished a plate, I've always had leftovers to eat the next day. Clean restaurant with kind employees!
Great service, quick seating at the bar. Sushi was good, rice was cooked just right.
My to buddies and went here to keep each other company on Christmas eve. Well I had a great time. This place rocks! The waitress sparred with my witty repartee and the food was out of this world. I love my sushi and this place hands down has been my best sushi experience to date. I will absolutely spend more money here in the future.
