So happy I found this place!! I came from out of town for work and was struggling to find a food place open past 10pm especially on a Sunday. The food was extremely flavorful, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and my experience couldn’t have been better! Thank you guys so much!
Shout out to Kevron and the rest of the crew at this unique, delish venue. Serve yourself Beer? Tasty Tacos (using double ? CORN tortillas)? What's NOT TO LIKE ?? GET on over there, bring someone along and enjoy yourself.
Not bad, could use some work on the salsas and why on earth do you have brussel sprouts on the menu??? ????
Love the tap wall for self service, the food is pretty good but the quesadilla I had could have used more time cooking or a few minutes in a an air fryer. The burritos are always a good go to, filling and delicious.
Ive been going here for 3 years and its got a great menu. I love being able to go eat/drink and watch a game on tv. They also have beer on tap self serve which is pretty awesome. The workers are just great.
Every time I’ve been here it’s been an hour wait for food. It’s just tacos, and they’re nothing special, so why does it take so long? It’s been that way for years, so Covid isn’t an excuse. Very loud, very crowded, tables uncleared, and they do not have enough seating available. Even if you’re willing to wait an hour for tacos, you’ll eat them standing up because there’s no where to sit. I’d go literally anywhere else to get your Mexican food fix.
We really enjoyed the food, felt bad we didn't come earlier when they first opened, just didn't expect the food to be as good as it is! The Don margarita was awesome as well, smooth with homemade sweet and sour!
I feel like this place could be better with some more flavor. The fish tacos and steak tacos were bland...same for the corn and bean side dishes. Maybe add an optional sauce choice to the menu items. Interesting concept of fast casual taco with self serve taps...just wishing for more flavor.
The food was awesome. Best tacos I've had in HSV. The owner, Irving actually served us and was bartending. Had some great conversation and learned about the concept and recipes. Fantastic selection of beer on self serve taps and they are very willing to talk beer all night long. A great date night and awesome experience. I will be back as often as I can. Need tacos? Go to Hops 'n gauc!! Dont think about it; just do it. A fantastic addition to campus 805.
Pricey for a family of 3 and just mediocre tacos. Rice and beans were good. Guacamole was mediocre as well. Service was fine just food wasn’t what I expected for the price
