The employees are friendly! We were sat quickly. We came for a Mexican breakfast and were excited as we have been missing having a Mexican breakfast spot since moving here. Well, the search continues because aside from their verde, their other sauces are basically flavorless. Part of our order never made it to the table and they weren’t busy. Their servers were very friendly, but the breakfast food just wasn’t good. Wouldn’t come again for breakfast. The two stars are purely based on the niceness of the staff but no one at our table enjoyed their food.
The food was delicious, generous portions, everyone one at our table left happy and satisfied. We even compared to the place we used to go to, there's no comparison! This was our first visit,We will be back, this place is our go to now! Friendly service and staff!
Excellent food and service. I had the Chile Colorado and it was phenomenal. Kids had a beef quesadilla and the meat was seasoned so well. Wife had a fajita quesadilla and she loved it. Our server was Raul and he was top notch.Edit to add: we discovered the next day that my wife left her purse there. When we called about it they remembered us and had immediately secured her purse upon discovery. Again Raul was quarterbacking this situation and he was 100% professional. Spot on. I will forever eat here whenever I’m in Huntsville!
It was our firsttime here, it was great. fast at bring out the food,what we ate was great and good pricing. we will come back agin.thanks.
The staff here is amazing. The food is always amazing. I love that they have a specific vegetarian part of the menu. They went out of their way to help me when my 4 year old got sick in the restaurant. Top notch people and we will continue to come here for years.
I would skip this place if you are from anywhere in the southwest. It's basically fancy taco bell. Everything is smothered in a cheese sauce that solidify and gest stuck in your teeth. The ground beef they put in everything is tastes like less salty taco bell.The drink specials are good, but the margaritas are very sweet.
I came here with my family and I I loved the atmosphere at this mexican restaurant. This restaurant is on my top 3 in Alabama. I would come back here especially the staff and workers are very nice there and the food is so delicious. Thank you to El Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant five star well deserved.

My husband and I are from Texas and we eat Mexican food all the time. We came to visit family in Alabama and decided to eat one meal just the two of us.This place not only had AMAZING food, but the service was great. I look forward to going back when we visit family again.
Their food was delicious! We ordered "A" and "O" off of the combination menu. The burritos on "O" were HUGE! "A & O" were both really good. The salsa, and the cheese dip were both very tasty. I LOVE their tortillas chips! The horchata was good too. I would like to try their aqua frescas as well. I saw that they had several different flavors. They have a VERY HUGE menu & a large ADULT drink menu, with different margarita flavors. They apparently have breakfast too, and expressos, cappacinno & lattes. The breakfast menu sounds absolutely delicious as well. I posted how good this place is on my personal Facebook too. Try it! I don't think that you will be disappointed. They have tonssss of dinner menu choices for dinner. They also have special things going on nightly.
