I’m a little late on posting this, but a very well deserved review! First off the food was outstanding, very delicious, very well presented! The service, OUTSTANDING I believe her name was Olivia she treated us with the upmost respect as we were family! We never went without drinks/amenities, watched her work ethic throughout the dinner with not only us but with other customers as well. She handle every situation with respect and timely manners. Looking to plan our next trip back due to the food and our server. Maybe one day she will get to see this review
Michael, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable to all of our needs. We had ribeye, New York strip, and scallops all prepared perfectly as ordered. The wedge salad was tasty too, as well as the pecan crunch for dessert. The Shot in the Dark was the perfect dessert drink to finish our dinner.
The food was top notch . As good as can be had. Service was more than acceptable. But the comments by the staff, especially the head bartender, Evan, I found especially concerning. It was later in the evening and he made the comment, loudly, where in the hell did all these peasants come from ? Thought you are in the service industry. Are saw no one that wasn't dressed well or acting out of line. Time for a different job Evan !
Phenomenal steak house in the Huntsville area! We were sat right away at a high top on a Wednesday evening.They have window treatments that come down to the top of the stool so you don’t burn up in the summer heat. Your waist and below gets a little of the heat wrath.Our server, I think her name was Sierra (sorry if I butchered the spelling), was absolutely a doll. She was the sweetest, attentive, and put up with my Uncles jokes. Lol.Drinks came quickly. They have the large square block ice for your whiskey on ice! We both had the prime rib, which was absolutely delicious- it comes with a loaded baked potato. We ordered one vegetable side, which is perfect for two people to share.You can add a salad for a an up charge - the wedge looked really good, but knew it would be too much food.First time I was offered to have the server pack it up for me since before COVID and I ain’t mad about it!!Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some red meat!
We had reservations and when we checked they congratulated us on our anniversary and we thought that was a nice touch. So our seating was really nice the table was decorated pretty and the waiters are really well trained in the menu options. So my husband had the cowboy ribeye, I had the regular ribeye they both were delicious, best steak we have tried in the area, I had a wedge salad for the very first time and it was so so I’ll probably just get a regular salad next time it just wasn’t for me. We got two appetizers the pork rinds with cheese and a bowl of gumbo. The gumbo was really good and it was piping hot. The pork rinds were just ok but I glad we tried it. This restaurant is expensive but it is on the top of our list and we can’t wait to go back.
The atmosphere, employees and food were beyond my expectations. Corbin, our waiter was exceptional. Food was prepared very well, and the portions were so large we will be eating this excellent food for a day or two
We had an amazing experience enjoying an excellent Bloody Mary with Pork Rinds with the best melted White Cheddar Gruyere dipping sauce for starters. I had delicious Creole Saute ordered from the Brunch Menu because it was a Sunday between 11 AM and 2 PM. Did I mention that there was a really excellent jazz trio playing while we enjoyed our food and drinks? You need to get here to experience this place if you're anywhere close by or you can fly here since there's a really nice airport not far away.
I have eaten in steakhouses around the world - literally. This is the best experience I’ve ever had in no small part due to Loli and the bartender, manager, everyone who supported the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Don’t pay any attention to the critical people. This is a gem. I was a solo on mothers day night and ate in the lounge and still felt like a king. The entertainment added to the ambience and Lolli‘s personality would make me want to come back 1500 miles from where I live just to experience her wonderful Loli interaction again. The steak was amazing so was the pecan pie. So perfect in every way. I can’t overstate how much I enjoyed this experience.
We ate at Char yesterday,Our 37th wedding anniversary!Our first time visiting this establishment.Easy access on Bob Wallace.Good parking.We were served by Michael. Great Waiter!Overwhelmed bye appetizers!Salad s !We had fried green tomatoes!Wife had steak frites. House salad!I had wedge salad!Ribeye. Both med rare.Pecan pie. Desert!We will be back!Only change I would have made:Was had gotten chicken!A great place!Piano tunes were nice!
Our $200+ daughter's birthday wasn't what we expected! Birthday girl could only eat 2 bites of Redfish as it was very salty and over seasoned. Prime Rib dinner was excellent!...best ever.and the only great meal at our table! Salmon also perfect but sides were extremely over cooked and really soaked in oil! Thanked goodness I also ordered a salad which was good and fresh. We all just expected a better experience! Probably won't eat here again. Huntsville Alabama location.
