Being the seventh car in line, my daughter and I were anticipating the delicious, cold ice cream. we got to the window and were handed our order. I handed the young man a $100. He promptly removed my order from my hand and said they did not have change. Hard to explain this to my daughter. Will not be going back.
We remember when this Brusters first opened. The curb appeal, the landscaping were immaculate, the servers were responsible young people who were well-trained and provided excellent service. The speaker at the drive-thru menu board worked, the ice cream quality was consistent. They knew how to make a wicked good hot fudge sundae, and we knew it would be perfect before they handed it out the drive thru window with a smile, and a napkin.Over time the service, the quality have worsened. We blamed it on the pandemic.Recently we would leave saying that’s our last time.Today was our last.It’s as though no one cares. Ownership/Management are either distracted or burned-out. Nothing about the experience is impressive. The trash and weeds in the parking lot, the dirty surfaces of the building, the weed jungle that has over grown the once pristine picnic area in the back, and the service was pitiful.Two scoops in a cup, served in the small kiddie cup, that barely appeared over the edge. A hot fudge sundae with barely 1 tablespoon of fudge and a ton of watery whipped cream.In South Huntsville, if you have to raise the price (due to our ridiculous economy), to provide the quality to which we are accustom, your customers will understand. We may whine about Chick-fil-A’s prices going up…but we still wait in line for it.PLEASE reconsider your strategy, please bring back the neighborhood ice cream shoppe we all knew and loved.
Quick & friendly service with tasty ice cream! I do wish they had cups of ice cold water available.
Just about the best ice cream I've ever had! A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Check out the White Raspberry Truffle or Chocolate Trash!
Ordered 2 different bowls of ice cream. Couldn't tell the difference. Had to dig through the whip cream to see what we had. My compliments to the photographer for the menu.

Great service and great ice cream. My favorite is PUMPKIN PECAN omg so delicious and them pecans are amazing.
