Not sure why this place only has 2.5 stars. We were in town visiting family and decided to stop for lunch.Menu very diverse and had good choices for all involved. We were seated immediately even during Sunday afternoon lunch. Restaurant was clean and pleasant.I ordered the Chipotle Cherry glazed Salmon with couscous and broccoli. Salomon was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed, but needed a touch of salt. Couscous was mixed with tomatoes, red pepper and spinach. It was excellent!My son ordered the prime rib. He didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. I tried a bite and it did need a little more seasoning for my taste. His Brussels sprouts were grilled and seasoned to perfection, a must try.My wife ordered the BBQ tri tip. Not many restaurants offer tri tip because it is difficult to do well, but BJs knocked this out of the park. Everyone at the table tried a bite and all love it. She did mention that the green beans needed the same seasoning as her garlic veggies and they would have been better.Our server was a little slow to refill drinks and check on us, that is our only real complaint. Other than that BJs would have received 5 stars.The wide variety menu impressed us and the food was overall very good. Will be back if ever in the area. Thank you for a great meal!
Why is it that no matter when you go to this place the service is super slow… especially waiting on your food? I always think, “oh We can go there and give it another chance,” and it’s always the same. It shouldn’t take 30 + minutes for chicken tenders and spaghetti and meatballs. Yet, the huge burger and deep dish pizza we’re ready and came out a good 5-10 minutes earlier. And the restaurant wasn’t even packed out… probably not even halfway to capacity.Not worth the wait in my opinion.
The service was pretty good this night, but the food was lack-luster! I had the chicken Caesar salad and the dressing tasted no better than a run-of-the-mill grocery store bottle brand. My husband had the scrimp scampi and found it "middle of the road" in every way. Like another reviewer, we'll just bop next door to Bravo in the future!
It was my first time in BJs & Shawn was my server tonight. She was amazing! Extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed! The true definition of being hospitable! I will definitely be back! If you ever come here, ask for Shawn! She will not disappoint.
I had such an amazing experience at BJs today! I sat with Shawn who was an exceptional server. She kept our drinks filled and anticipated every need. Shawn had a lot of great information on the menu and helped me select something for dinner. The food was delicious and came out in record time.I ordered the white peach Margarita as well as the nachos. I will be coming back to sit with Shawn. Thanks for the exceptional service!
We were going to eat at Bravo next door but after standing there for several minutes and the servers avoiding eye contact we left, and on the way to the car decided to poke our heads in here. They had something for my unbelievably picky eater so we decided to ear here. Daniel noticed us as soon as we walked in the door from across the room. He smiled all the way to greet us. He gave us several options of where to sit. Asked inside or out, booth or table, and if we were okay close to the bar. Seemed genuinely happy to be here. He told us Chris would be our server. Chris was amazing and also seemed happy to be here. He told me his favorites and gave his opinion when asked. Our food was amazingly delicious and my son asked for me to make sure to say how awesome his French fries were! The bar was a little slow in my opinion I heard Chris ask her to make his drinks once. But other than the slow bartender (only 2 ppl at the bar) it was amazing and well be back!
First time I had been here but it was top notch. Both the portion size and quality and taste of the food was incredible. I had the double bone pork chop and it was divine. My son ate barbacoa chicken and said is was delicious as well. Prices were not that bad either. Definitely going to become a go to spot for a great meal.
I absolutely loved the fish tacos. I ordered one that was blackened shrimp and the other was mahi mahi. They were the best fish tacos I have eaten in a long time. I ordered a side salad with my meal and my husband had chips and black beans. Our son had cheese pizza. Great atmosphere and clean.
Came here for lunch after our daughters cheer competition before heading back to Birmingham. The host was nowhere to be found for the first 10 minutes. After waiting for about 30 minutes we finally got seated. I understand they’re short staffed in the kitchen and staff but we waited about 15-20 minutes before the waiter came and took our drink orders. Ordered appetizers and food, all of which came out together maybe 45 min later and was cold. Not nearly worth the $77 we paid for it all. I recommend you go to one of the other restaurants close by to save your time and money.
Family of 4. The food was good. We waited awhile on our appetizer. Our server was busy, busy. No help from the manager posted at the register station. Just build him a pedestal. Can I have his job. I need one where i work less than i already do. I’m sorry, I should give him more credit he did go get a tray of dishes at one point ( it was taken away from him by the dishwasher). Ohh and when we left I realized that we didn’t get my salad. March 5 2022 6pm. Bridgestreet Huntsville, AL
