This was our first time eating at Big Bowl Thai Cuisine and we were pleasantly surprised! Both the food and service were both great!The lunch menu includes the house coconut soup and salad. The lunch box was nice because it came with your choice of protein, California roll and rice. The Pad Thai Chicken was also good. Highly recommend trying the Thai iced tea!Conveniently located off University Drive near MidCity, there’s plenty of parking in the lot outside. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. It also appears that they do a lot of take out orders which they seem to be very efficient at.The service was both friendly and fast. I was impressed how fast our food came out after we ordered. We will definitely be back!
Had the chicken pad Thai and spring rolls, asked for spicy and there was no spice but the flavor was great. The banana egg roll was surprisingly good. Kids had the chicken fried rice and they made little faces for them. Very friendly staff!
I’m somewhat of a Thai food connoisseur or maybe jus a picky eater. Which ever it maybe I know good Thai cuisine when I taste it. I ordered the Thai tea(sorry no boba) and green curry. I managed to take a pic of the Thai tea before I drank it all. However, I devoured my green curry as soon as it hit the table it was really that good. The experience was all around awesome!! Food was served fast and fresh. Staff was friendly and the environment was clean and welcoming.
Staff was friendly. Food came out quickly. I got the drunken curry noodles. Not amazing food, but it was good and relatively cheap.
This place is amazing. I have tried numerous menu items and all have been very good. The drunken noodles are some of the best I have had.
Wow! We were blown away at how delicious this food was for the price. It beats the more expensive Thai option in Huntsville and is slightly more authentic. This is our new favorite Thai restaurant. 10/10 recommend.I had the mild curry with chicken, amazing!
The food is consistently delicious, nutritious and well plated, both in the restaurant and when I've ordered takeout before work. The pad thai box deal is perfectly made! Every server I've interacted with has been so wonderful also, and the place is always clean and welcoming. If I could give more stars I would!Some additional things: the flower shapes made out of the paper for the straws is beautiful and useful to keep your straws clean, really love that! The extra sauces and thoughtfully wrapped plastic silverware for takeout orders is also really great, and I appreciate how quickly the food is made and how the quality is always perfect each time. The coupon deals in the individual take-away menus are also really cool and memorable.
I can not rave about this place enough. They offer vegetarian options, which I love. What's great about Big Bowl, is that I've probably gone at least a dozen times over the last several months, and my partner and I have NEVER been disappointed. Their prices are also unbeatable. (We love thai red curry and pad thai with tofu if you're looking for a recc.)
Walk into this restaurant and be greeted with the aroma of authentic Thai cuisine, where the staff are attentive and the setting is neat and clean. The complementary Miso soup is very satisfying with floral flavors. The Gyoza pan fried pot stickers with seasoned vegetables and chicken and dipping sauce are savory appetizers. The Red Curry in coconut milk with eggplant and bamboo shoots has the right amount of spice in a rich and filling entree with rice, salad, Spring rolls & sauces. There are a variety of appetizers, soups and more to try!
The food was fantastic. I git the drunken chicken noodles which is a curry noodle dish with flat rice noodles. It was delicious, only complaint would be that I ordered "very spicy" but it's wasn't that spicy. The flavor was fantastic though!
