Food was pretty good, but for the price paid, $10 for 2 sides and a sausage with bread, a little expensive.

slow. slow slow. everybody here either skipped nap time or smokes too much grass. food did not give me food poisoning, so thats a plus. though i did watch boss man walk in and harrass one employee about his checking account and shaving his head, then proceed to hand scoop ice out of the ice chest for his sweet tea and leave to resume "hanging out" outside.
So, I was looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, I walked in behind a couple only to hear one of the workers tell them that they were out of brisket and only had enough pork for sandwiches and nachos. How can you not plan properly for a weekend? It was Saturday at 6:45. Maybe I can try again later and raise the rating.
Awfully bland food. No flavor, dried out meat, nothing tender and juicy about this place. How can someone mess up BBQ in alabama? I had to go next door to order something else.. Disappointing at best. 0/10 would not recommend. At least the service was nice.

Great food but apparently doesn’t hold to posted hours. Today was the second time I’ve come by and they were closed before the hours posted online or on their board at the door.
I had the Tex, which is the brisket sandwich and its was delicious. The service was excellent.
Great Bbq and homemade chips.
Really delicious food, reasonable wait, great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for tourists and natives alike.
