I’ve been looking for a solid BBQ joint since Thomas Pitt closed down and I can say, without hesitation, that this is the best BBQ restaurant around. Not only is every bit of their food top notch, the best part is that you don’t have to take out a mortgage to get a meal for your family. The folks up there run a great operation and make you feel right at home in this mom-and-pop style place. Can’t say enough good things about it, so just do yourself a favor and check it out.
BarbeQue Heaven Ok, so first time visiting today.…minutes from my office…new spot! That Mac and cheese is ridiculously good. If you get the large it’s as big as your drink so keep that in mind?. Meat flavored so well just forget the sauce. It’s got some kick though with that pepper but I like it. Banana pudding is on point. Co worker walked out and said “Hey you went to Barbeque Heaven?”. He recognized the plain box somehow. I’d hadn’t heard of this spot until I found it on Google a week ago but he’s been going for a while. Get there when they open, they get busy in a hurry and for good reason. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stopped in yesterday with my family for the first time and was very surprised with the quality of food. The prices are very reasonable and the owner/operator is very friendly, even letting my daughter play with one of the stuffed animals off the counter. We also tried a slice of red velvet cake that was DELICIOUS! I don’t like red velvet, but I like their version and will definitely be back. I had the catfish sandwich and my wife had the pulled pork. Both were excellent. ?. I highly recommend you try this place, and as a bonus you’ll be supporting local business.
This was the first time I've ever been. It's a small place on a side street that you would almost miss if you didn't look hard. Someone else actually was visiting for their first time while I was in the store. As far as food goes I wanted the ribs and I ended up getting the large full rack family meal which was $32. The Value was was okay maybe. The ribs are pre-cut and I actually like to see the whole slab that I'm paying for. Once it's cut for you I feel deceived and almost like I'm not getting what I paid for. I mean if I'm paying $32 for the whole slob I want to see that slab even if you have to cut it in half, But it was good. Inside the restaurant TVs were blaring so it was kind of loud. If I had ate inside it would have been a little uncomfortable. Also there's only one small menu at the counter. It would be nice if they had a larger blown up menu people could look at while they're eating. Maybe trying to decide if they want to buy something else or want more after they're done eating. Instead you're left fighting for one menu. I would go back if I'm in the area again and try something else. Again like I said I felt deceived with the ribs so I'll probably steer clear and not get those again
The ribs, pork chop, chicken was juicy and tasted great along with the potato salad and mac cheese
The owner was very cordial and, even though they didn't have any mac n' cheese, he gave me a soda while I waited as he cooked some okra to replace the mac n' cheese. Looking forward to going back.Edit/Addition: The food was excellent! The smoked chicken was my favorite! Also, surprisingly, the cole slaw was my favorite side. And if the cole slaw was good, then it's no question that all the others were good as well. Can't wait to try that mac n' cheese!!!
This place is a JOKE. How can a bar b que place that specializes in ribs NEVER have any cooked?! This happens all of the time. When he actually has ribs to sell, they are pretty decent. This establishment is a true disappointment. Here's a clue to the owner: people eat between these hours -- 11 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 6 PM. How about cooking more than one slab of ribs so you can satisfy your customers.
I saw genuinely beautiful fried okra on the other reviews and knew I had to come. It’s the best I’ve ever had.And to add another anecdote, I don’t eat pork as a matter of principle, but this is the best barbecue I’ve ever had.Will definitely be coming back!!!
Had the lunch rib sandwich and was best ribs I have ever eaten. Sauce was very good, not too sweet, or thick, had a vinegar taste that complemented the ribs perfectly. Definitely will be back!!!
Wow! I highly recommend the ribs and pulled pork. Mac and cheese was delicious. The vinegar based slaw was not my favorite, but the fried okra was perfect!
