I've lived in the area for almost 16 years and this is the first time I have eatten here. Truth be told it was OK, not good or great just OK. Bottom line the place is a few steps above a Taco Bell or their ilk, but not quite at the level of a Mexican Restaurant. Without a doubt it is affordable and fast food like with some quirky vibes... Staff member I dealt with could use some training in dealing with customers in a friendly and personable manner, might have earned her a tip. Is it worth trying I would say so, would I eat here again I would say so as well. Your results may vary.
Great tomatillo salsa, I love the atmosphere more than I like the food. It’s a bit inconsistent - I suspect the size of your burrito depends on who is working that day. I’ve only visited twice so maybe just an off day my second time. Great friendly staff!
It was my husband and my first visit and we was more than impressed. We had been told their salsa is the best around and we agree! The Mexican food was authentic but with a flair. Definitely not a chain restaurant. Loved the unique details in decor choices and menu. (A picture of Ice Cube on the ice dispenser!)
Been visiting this place since 1995 when I was a student at UAH. The food is always great and served fast. Its cool when longtime staff leave for years and then come back like they never left. No other restaurant in Huntsville has matched or can match the consistency and longevity as Bandito. NONE! That's gotta tell ya something.
I've been working in Huntsville for over 30 years, and have never eaten here until last night. Shame on me!This place is really good. Definitely not fancy, but I think that's the point. Friendly people running the place, good service, and the food is at least as good as any of the other tex-mex restaurants in the area.My order arrived quickly, the food was hot, and it tasted great.While it wasn't crowded (around 7:30 pm), there was a steady stream of customers, dine in and take out, while I was there. This place obviously has a loyal following.I'll be back!
This. This I do say is a good place for a burrito. Very tasty indeed. The chips and salsa were also great!
Small inside but worth a wait! The steak burrito was delicious. So much so we ordered a second. Great prices as well. Def worth a trip.
Great service. Food is consistently great. Have to get at least one green bean burrito (green sauce on a bean burrito). Fun atmosphere eating there and the to-go is also great. Highly recommend! …to also have Tums.

Awesome staff and the best quick Mexican food in town! Favorite things on the menu are the bean burritos, pork tamales and the super nachos.
