Absolutely loved the monkey theme! Gorgeous views of downtown on a cozy patio. We enjoyed the drinks we ordered (espresso martini and old fashioned). Our bartender was friendly and knowledgeable (didn’t get his name but he had a curly mustache). Drinks are pricy but worth it for the atmosphere. They also had a great bourbon selection.
Fun little bar! If the drink you want isn't on the menu, the friendly bartenders will make it for you.The outside seating has great views of downtown Huntsville!
One extra star for the patio. Minus the rest of them for a $7 upcharge for substituting a low tier (but not well) gin in one of the drinks on their menu. $19 for a drink that costs AT MOST $12 at places like Cotton Row, Char, Ruth's Chris is absolutely ridiculous.
Great name, great location and great start. they’ve made an obvious commitment to great service and if they can keep that up then they’ve got a great future in downtown Huntsville.
Beautiful rooftop bar that has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Although the menu is limited compared to many bars, the craft cocktails are well made and the food is delicious!
Beautiful view and the cocktail presentations look lovely.
This was our first time visiting Baker & Able Rooftop bar. We enjoyed our time.It was an early Friday night, about 5:30-7pm. They weren't busy and service was quick. We got a nice spot outside.Drinks were good, not mind blowing. They have a decent bourbon selection and a small menu to help you find something to eat or drink.
My wife and I came there for a drink tonight before dinner. She ordered a dirty martini, which was served in a rocks glass, and incredibly warm. Martinis are served in a stem glass, period. Then only to find out it was $24.00 We just got back from Manhattan, N.Y., and no cocktail has ever cost that much. Not in NY, or any airport, or any concert that we have been to. If you guys are trying to impress all the people that come to Huntsville on business, you are sadly mistaken. People will laugh at your lack of knowlegde. Your prices should clearly be stated on the drink menu with all the others. Your signature cocktails were in line at $12 to $14, and your beers were fine at $6, but $24 for a warm martini in a rocks glass??? GTFOH.
Nice rooftop view of downtown - especially the bell towers and regular quiet chimes. Great drinks, snacks, and ambiance.
Service was decent. Poor quality on their drinks. The old fashioned tasted like cherry cough syrup and the “perfect Manhattan” (which I don’t know how you can screw up wasn’t very good at all) the guy server that we had on the rooftop suggested a slightly different Manhattan which is one that he prefers and it was so much better!!Once seated at the restaurant afterwards it was about an hour wait which normally wouldn’t be a big deal if they had checked in on us. We were tired of waiting around so asked for some bread which came back as hard as a rock.Very nice setting and beautiful rooftop bar though!!
