Okay, seriously how did I miss this? Barista's here can pull an espresso like no coffee shop I've ever seen. They are genuine and honest hard workers. The owners must have a lot of experience, cause I was in wow mode. Also jam packed with nothing but regulars(the complete opposite of a red flag). This place probably shines all the way into outer space. I'm not only recommending this place I'm insisting you try it. I've never felt so at home and I'm from Dallas Texas. FYI I did move to Alabama so Guess ill be the newest regular here. Its like they listened to my coffee soul and fed it. It excites me to visit again. Gives me a reason to wake up in the morning ha!
Best coffee, best coffee shop in town. Happy, attentive employees. Frequent buyer program. Always makes me happy to stop in for a cup!
Angel’s Island Coffee has a fun vibe, this small coffee shop boasts fun drinks, unique specials and some tasty pastries. I had the special a Cinnamon Roll Latte Iced and it was flavorful and sweet but not too sweet. I also got to try their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Affogato and it was tasty. It was a first time for me having an affogato so I don’t have much to compare it to, but it would be a great afternoon treat in the summer time.
Coffee is great, but hygiene is poorUnfortunately, I had to remove two stars from my original review from 1 year ago. The young lady at the drive thru yawned into her hand, scratched her scalp several times, wiped it on her shirt and then grabbed a cup to make our smoothie without washing her hands. No thanks. I recommend going inside to order.
Great little local coffee shop, much better than the chains around town. Friendly staff. Espresso tasted a bit burnt and the stand full of Doritos at the counter put off the wrong vibe for a coffee shop. Otherwise, a good spot.
They have the best smoothies. Last night I was there to do a show and I had two of them. So good
I love the people who work there, and I especially love the way they will just let you sit and hang out! I've gone there with friends to grab lunch and work on a project, and it's always just so chill and inviting! The encourage you to linger, and if it's slow, you can visit with them, too! Ask them about their free game closet!
I love Angel's Island. I always order a chai latte because it's the best in town! Their muffins are very moist and always hit the spot. Sometimes the drive thru has a bit of a wait but I always just leave a little early just in case because it's worth the wait. Their staff is always friendly and will even sometimes come out to the car to take orders if the window is backed up a little.
After Starbuck’s wouldn’t open the door (it was locked, the sign said they were open, there were 3 employees inside, and they definitely saw me and the 3 other customers waiting and knocking on the door), I went to Angel’s Island. I am not from the area, and one of the other customers that had been rebuffed at Starbucks told me about it. I am so glad she did! I got a delicious Americano from a friendly employee. I will return there the next time I am in town.
Angel is one of the sweetest, kindest and most caring woman ever and that has rubbed off to make her shop one of the best coffee shops not only around the Tenn Valley but the entire south east.
