The food and service was great. Everything was very clean and sanitized. Only wish that the cooks on the hibachi grill wore mask and at least gloves. I understand that their hands are not touching the food but still should have gloves. Same for the mask, even though you're vaccinated, when you're preparing food like that you should have on mask still
Not too friendly to those with my disability, I asked for a seat away from everyone else, her excuse was were a restaurant what are we supposed to so accommodate just for you, I wasn't happy and gave them issues, it's a miracle they didn't kick me out. The food is good so if your normal enjoy.
On par with the buffet on Jordan. Lately, Jordan has better sushi. I didn’t feel like this one was worth the extra cost, but there are some heavy eaters in this town… I bet it’s hard to keep a buffet open around here. Kudos for that, sincerely!

Have enjoyed 88 for several years. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Hibachi is also usually good. Update: like everywhere, prices have gone up. But it's still good food and a good experience.
I don't care what anyone says, I love this place. It's the only buffet I've been to where I actually trust the raw sushi. I've been several dozen times and it has never made me sick or anything.I don't care for all of the foods they offer and some are particularly unappealing, but there are many, many tasty items to choose from. I also love the hibachi bar. I only wish they included eggs as an option on the hibachi buffet.I've never had to wait for a table because the seating is plentiful. Overall, I really enjoy this place.
Had an amazing time with my family and friends. The staff was exceptional and the food was pretty good. They had a wide variety including a sushi bar and hibachi. I definitely look forward to eating here again!
This buffet is always amazing..from the pork chops and chicken nuggets to the sushi and sesame chicken. We drive over an hour to come here because none of the buffets in my area stack up to 88 buffet.
Not very good. Pot stickers had dark mystery meat and some food was cold. A couple choices were decent but not worth the $15
We visited 88 Buffet, located on Universitiy, in Huntsville. It's a large buffet with lots of choices. The day we went, it was crowded. While I had no problem with the service OR the food, in the end, it was just another Chinese buffet.
