I am not an expert of Mexican food. I have no idea what is difference between taco and borito. My son recommended me to go to this place. He said food was good. So my husband and I decided to try it but we were going to meet up there. I arrived first and grabbed the menu. The guy who works there walked up to me and asked If I needed help. I looked lost with this stuff. That impressed me already. I asked question and he answered. He told me I could sit and wait for my husband even though I was not ready to order. Once he arrived, we ordered create your own. I chose soft taco with shrimp, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, Sriracha slaw, hot sauce (forgot the name) and side of street corn.Food is really GOOD. A few days after, I went back to get the same thing again but with different side, rice with cilantro lime. It was really good. This time, it is a different guy who works there walked toward my table to check if I need anything or everything is okay. When finishing my food, I grabbed my empty tray walking toward the trash. The boy who works there he offered his help and grabbed it me. I have to say hospitality is awesome!! Service is great!! Food is fabulous!! Ambiance is wonderful!! Definitely will go back again!!
Food and service was great but we sat outside, six feet from a non-smoking sign, and the next table over had a smoker the entire meal. At least 6 employees walked by their table, two talked to the smoker, but no one said anything to them (they did hold it down to the side when the staff talked to them or it was between cigarettes). It's either non-smoking or smoking. The rest of the diners get to decide too.
Decided to stop by here today for lunch and have to say that I was very underwhelmed. I order their Justice is Served, and The Sizzler, which are two styles of taco. They have a basket deal which comes with chips salsa and a choice of side. I ended up paying roughly $20 for three tacos, that came with chips, salsa, and queso. I consider it to be a bit on the dear side, but what you're paying for here is higher quality ingredients, not higher quality food.The Justice is served I ordered with grilled flounder that came slightly undercooked and very lacking in flavor. The Sizzler comes with Grilled steak tenderloin, grilled onions, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, red chile butter sauce, queso fresco all of which don't quite hit the mark. The steak also being slightly overcooked, lacking just as much flavor as the flounder, and fighting against the paired ingredients.Overall Taco Mama failed to impress me. The restaurant itself was great with very friendly staff. I'm sorry to say though, the next time I'm in town and in the mood for tacos, I don't see Taco Mama crossing my mind.
Taco Mama never disappoints with their burritos and tacos. I recommend a steak burrito, as the steak is always tender and cooked perfectly. Their guacamole, queso, and salsa are all solid options when eating their perfectly salted chips. Once one orders, the food is delivered within a few minutes.I only deduct a star because of the insane wait times that sometimes occur at night. It seems that some people have trouble ordering fast. I once was waiting in line for around twenty minutes and barely moved from the back of the store. There is usually only one register open on these nights, which also contributes to this issue. I have found that going at around 5:30-5:45 or after the dinner rush from 6-7ish helps prevent having to wait for 30+ minutes to order.

Tacos and the burrito bowls are amazing,service is down home friendly and the prices are good,with great margaritas,best iin the area,also their catering is fantastic with awesome tortas.Recommend this place highly
