I was truly impressed with Mikey's. I have tried to go by there on numerous occasions and they were always closed - so much so that I assumed the restaurant might have permanently closed. I am really glad I went by, again, tonight. I overheard one of the servers mention that they had undergone some renovations - the place was well put together.We had the blackened ribeye and the chicken dish (cannot recall the name) - both were superb. The sides were also very, very good. The service was definitely on point. So glad we gave it another shot and we will definitely be back.

Being from the Midwest, we like seafood but this is completely different. Weren't sure about crawfish, so the chef gave us a sample. We added the alligator strips for the appetizer and counted them for sharing (not really but almost). Had the crawfish po-boy, since we liked the sample. Fantastic wait staff, love it when they ask but aren't intrusive. Huge servings. We aren't big eaters so the appetizer and the po-boy split between us made us quite comfortable for continuing our trip.
I rated Mikeyâs based on previous experience. This time, a storm had blown through and knocked out power so we were unable to dine there. The staff was gracious and apologized profusely, but I know it was out of there control. I would highly recommend Mikeyâs to everyone!
Food was great as usual. Ask if they have the fried green tomato appetizer. It is very unique and you will not regret it.
Food is AMAZING! You HAVE to try the Fried Bread Pudding.
