A tad bit expensive but if you like spicy foods or Jamaican foods, then this is your spot. Definitely a hot spot because even though there is no dine in area, the restaurant was always packed, meaning about 6 to 7 people can stand in line or hang around inside of the restaurant (pickup area only) socially distanced. Others can go in and pay and wait outside. You can also call an order in. I ordered the Kings Combination plate. Two actually. You'll have leftovers but it's worth it. Try a slice of cake too. I would recommend.
The food at Jake’s is amazing. But they can NEVER get food out timely on the Express side. It’s a damn joke to call it Express when you can walk in and get a table plus food faster. PLEASE do better. Every time I say I’m not coming back, I try again and get the same disappointment.

Great first experience from the moment my husband and I stepped in the door, greeted by friendly waiters. I got the Port of Spain’s Curry chicken, collard greens, Mac n cheese and fried okra. My husband got the Kingston Combination Plate (curry chicken, jerk chicken and 3 oxtail’s) food was hot and good! I definitely would recommend everyone to check this place out because we will definitely be back.
Menu says greens with smoked turkey. I checked my greens before I left because last time I noticed I had no meat.Checked it today and told her there was no meat. She said it doesn't come with meat but the menu says it.The whole Flava is gone.You have to cater to your meat eaters as well.I'm not vegan and plan on being veganBut I damn sure won't buy greens from here again

Dine in is NOT available!! We missed that point on google maps but decided to order anyway since we drove 25 minutes for it and we’re SO GLAD we did!The food was delicious!! The oxtails, tender and divine. Perfect portion sizes. I was able to make two meals out of it between the oxtails and two sides it came with. We’ll definitely be back!
Will be heading back down in a few weeks for my nephews graduation. I'm hoping I have a chance to stop back by Jake's. Friendly staff, great food. Highly recommend the salmon cakes. Probably one of the best I've ever had(sorry mom). Wish dine in was still an option.

On Monday March 14th, I put in a order online . The order was Pork Chop Baby Gravy with Mac& cheese with greens as veggies . I requested for center cuts smothered in gravy and pick up time for 7pm. I got there at 7pm and had too wait. Jake was not crowded at all. I got my food and the gravy was on the side. One Pork Chop was fresh and the other piece was tasting like seafood. The entire order was nasty. I threw out 21.00 and change. I been ordering this meal and never had this problem. I want be eating there anymore
