What a hidden gem! Definitely a family Friendly environment, lawn games, turf and grass. Really good beer. Lots of indoor seating. Not a ton of shaded area, more umbrellas or a few sails would be nice, but they do have tables with umbrellas.

A long bar, a big taproom with an upstairs for private events, and a sizable outdoor space with tables offer plenty of places to congregate with colleagues, friends, or family. The modern, slightly industrial design of the taproom doesn't offer much acoustic dampening and can be noisy. The outdoor area includes a convenient food truck location and an outside bar almost on the opposite side of the "beer garden" with plenty of tabs to get large crowds lubricated. The adjacent Hoover Met offers plenty of overflow parking. Everything is set up nicely and it feels very safe. The brewery offers a wide range of beer styles from hazy double IPA to raspberry wit and from simple lager to vanilla porter. All beers were clean, no off flavors, had an appropriate level of carbonation, and were all in all good but they were "thinner" than I prefer my beers.I like to get excited by a beer and I enjoy beers that either hit their style perfectly or drive the style to a new extreme. Seemingly this brewery doesn't want to rock your palate but provides a variety of libations to support your gatherings.Go with your crew, be toddler-tolerant, wear a pressed polo shirt, have a beer or two, and enjoy a nice place to get together or meet people.

The beers are wonderful but the true gem is the fabulous staff! Hands down a diverse group of fabulous people.

This is a great place to meet your friends for a few drinks after work! The beers are great and so is the outdoor space.

Great selection of fresh draft beer. Bartender was helpful. Very big open space to accommodate huge crowds.

The beer is good, not the best in town but definitely not the worst. Patio is nice and the front area is good but covered up in screaming kids. My only real complaint is no 5oz or small sizing for people who have to drive and do not want a whole flight of beers.

I love this place. The beer is great. We loved every beer we tried. It had a great atmosphere. TVs on the inside with basketball on and space outside to enjoy the sunshine. My new favorite place!

A most excellent brewery. Staff are friendly and inviting; the location is convenient, spacious, and awesome; the taps are numerous, and the beers are in-house and delicious. I totally expected this place to be a small, unassuming, "another brewery" among a long list of "another brewery"ies scattered all about the greater Bham area; but this place is a pleasant surprise from that expectation. So go - stop reading my nonsense and go check it out! And take yer kids, dogs, mother-in-law, cats, gerbils, ex-girlfriend, best friend (ok, don't take your ex-girlfriend...) - there's plenty of room inside and out for them *all*.

Alright, folks! While it is nearly impossible to get a five-star rating from me, yet another location has received it.We are lucky to be only a few miles from Brock's Gap Brewing. Wife and I visited today for the first time, and the experience was splendid! The four beers we sampled were all delicious. Their indoor and outdoor space was fantastic! Luckily, we aren't within walking distance, as the wife said if we were, she'd be there almost every day.I loved everything about this place, from the location, the size, the beer selection, to the employees. I really don't have any negative reports. If you live in the Hoover, Alabama area, and have not visited, please do! It's well worth it!

Clean. Open. Plenty of sunlight. Great area for kids (and adults) to play. Just enough TVs to get your favorite game but not too many. Great side patio for a quiet place to read, study or talk. Helpful barkeep that let us try several of their brews. Only had the Marriage Counselor Belgian Tripel and it was delicious. Will be back.
