I’ve been 3 times now, and this place has yet to disappoint. In fact, order the campechano torta (pictured). It’s the best $9 you’ll spend all week. The chicken quesadilla was well spiced, and service is fast and friendly.
I loved the food at Don Tacho. They have large menu of authentic Mexican food to choose from and all the options sounds very tasty. I wanted to try the basic tacos first to get an idea and they did not disappoint. The taco bar they have helps you customize your tacos the way you want. The Quesadilla was great and recommended. I loved their ice cream and fruit bars options if you’re looking for a dessert after a heavy meal. Give them a try!
Did a work luncheon today and had it catered - Extremely great service and food! Highly recommend! My entire team loved it. We will definitely be ordering again for work and home as well!
This place has the worst birria tacos, the meat has a strange taste and the waitress couldn’t even tell me what kind of meat it was. The consomé is basically pozole. The salsa’s are watered down with very little flavor. Overall bad experience and will not be returning.I would give them a zero but that’s not possible so I give them a 1 ..
We ordered in from this place via Uber Eats and were NOT disappointed! Ample portions and plenty of seasoning. The onion/cilantro mixture included on top of the tacos was incredibly fresh. It'll be hard not to impulse-order the burrito again tomorrow!
Our new favorite Mexican resurant! Everything was fresh and delicious. Great selection of salsas and taco toppings. Plus they have ice cream. To quote my daughter "This increased my happiness"
Heard bout this place and gave it a try... I’ll have to say it’s the best Mexican Food in town. Price very reasonable and great food portions. 5/5 service as well, overall a great experience!
Delicious Birria Tacos. These are hard to find in Birmingham. I will come back to try some other items as well. Quick and fast service as well.

The most Authentic Mexican food in the city of Birmingham. After living in California most of my life, moving to the South, has definitely left me yearning for Mexican food from back home. I am so glad I found this place. It has yet to disappoint. I come about once a week. Sometimes just for the Jamaica. Haven't had a Margherita yet. Looking forward to that.
