The food was good but I drove all the way across town to get those chicken livers and they were out!!! I would have gladly waited on some fresh fried ones but I was not offered that choice. :(I got the chopped steak and gravy. It was good but wasn't the chicken livers! :(
The food was fabulous and Danielle was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We are from out of town but come to UAB so we will be back.
Everytime I come here I am always welcomed with southern hospitality. They are so welcoming and have very good food. Kudos to the awesome cooks. I will continue to go here. <3
We love love this restaurant! Try to eat there at least twice a week! They have a standard fare and daily, advertised specials. Something great for everyone.
Food was wonderful. Everything was served hot. Restaurant was clean. Service was excellent. Have eaten there many times. I would encourage anyone wanting a great home cooked meal to stop in and give them a try.
Great meat-n-three in Homewood area right off 65 and Greensprjngs. Grilled chicken, squash casserole and fried green tomatoes for the win. Sweet tea and cobbler of the day finish the deal. Get an extra roll or two for the drive home.
Very nice restaurant with a food bar full of meat and vegetables. Green salads too. Desserts. Good food. Loved the sweet tea. Good service.
Always heard about this place and it didn't disappoint. Service was friendly and very engaged with my children. Also to note is they accomodated our large family. The food was good too. I'll he back.
We ate here about 20 years ago with my mom and some of her friends the Wensday before thanksgiving…..I ate here again today, and I have to say it was a lot of portions for the money….meat, and 2 vegetables, desert, and sweet tea was $7.98 plus tax, I paid $21 for 2 people plus left tip….food was excellent, staff was kind and courteous, waitresses where on top of it, my tea glass never was empty and the place was packed out…parking was….limited, but that can be exspected…..good quick meal!
