A lovely breakfast spot. We were told to go early because it gets busy quick. We must have gone at the perfect time because we walked in, ordered, ate and walked out. Their grits were a win with my baby girl which is a win for this new momma here. I loved the biscuits where I was so close to ordering some to take back with me to Columbus. They also make picking up your order fun and I’ll let you find out how when you get there. ?
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The service was above great! We tried a little bit of everything and nothing was a disappointment! Now that maple coffee is worth a visit in every city!
Fun experience with great food. When we ordered they asked us what super power we would choose if we could have one. Then they used that instead of our name when our order was ready. The peppered maple bacon was a real winner.
Let me start by saying that I really do not like giving bad reviews, but in this case, I have to. I am giving one star for the overall experience. First, the cashier with the sling on her arm was friendly and helpful when it came to taking the order, she also made sure that we were aware that we should tip the staff before we actually experienced the service (bad move). After paying for our food, we were assured that we would be notified when our breakfast was ready (we sat outside).Well, none of the above happened. An actual patron who was leavinghad to let us know that our food was ready and sitting inside, getting cold. That leads me to the cold eggs, extra hard bacon, and this one star review. It is my feeling that if you are going to request for patrons to tip before receiving the actual service and food, then both should be impeccable.The meal was $44.00 (tip included), for cold eggs, extra hard bacon, and zero service from the staff. I was tempted to leave the dishes on the outside table for the staff to collect, but I am from south and was not raised that way. At any rate, the staff was to busy sitting on the inside and engaged in cell phones and tablets to care.Will I return? Maybe, if I hear about change from a paying customer. Would I recommend? No.
Despite the crowd the employees at MSBC did an amazing job keeping their composure and positive attitude. Our food came out hot and fresh and it was delicious. Certainly worth the wait! I will say this: if you have sensory sensitivity, definitely wait outside or bring your noise canceling ? headphones on a busy day like Saturday! ?
I really hate to leave a poor review because I love the concept of this restaurant; however, both times I have eaten here there has been hair in my food. The first time it was baked into my biscuit. It is so highly recommended I thought I would give it a second chance and wham, another hair, in my goat cheese/jam spread. A manager definitely needs to address the sanitary standards of the kitchen staff before I’m willing to try a third time.
Absolutely delicious. Great experience. We will be back! Even the coffee was amazing and the orange juice was great!!! Very impressed with how fast the service was for how amazing and good the food was. Worth the drive if you don’t live close.
Being first timers to MSBC, Asia greeted & helped with a smile, plus had patience while we picked out our food. The food is as fantastic as the service! Highly recommend: Squawking Goat Biscuit The Farmer Biscuit Maple Vanilla Lattes *forgot to take photos because it looked so good ? We look forward to returning!
I've passed by this restaurant a million times:) My mission to try different brunch locations on the weekend led my family to eat at Maple Street Biscuit Company! The food was delicious! The Extreme Biscuit and Gravy was out of this world! The sausage smash makes it over the top! Our teens loved the Chicken & Waffles! The employees were nice and helpful in both of my visits. Be prepared to clean your table before enjoying your meal though. I'm not sure if it's bc they were short staffed or if that's the lay of the land, lol! We didn't mind though:)
The chicken biscuit was ? & my husband loved his grit bowl. Our 3 yo is so picky but ate all of her choc chip waffle. The iced biscuits are ahhhhmazing! Best breakfast!
