Normally I have no problem with this location but today it took over 30 minutes for a to go order of onion rings and a slice of lemon ice box pie. What makes it worse is that when I eat my pie it's not lemon ice box, it's coconut. A waste of time, money and gas.
I mean what can you say thats bad? Im not an Alabama born BBQ expert, but this stuff is amazing. The pulled pork almost needs not to be chewed. Trimmings were phenomenal. The catfish was lightly breast and crispy. The cheddar biscuits are probably the best I've ever had. And deviled eggs on the menu? Sold.Plus service was great. Five star easy.
White sauce? That was a new and pleasant experience. Very tasty collards and Mac & cheese. I always wish my BBQ was a bit warmer no matter where I am. We'll be back!
Great BBQ in Homewood. Love their ribs. and if you haven't tried their corn on the cob You are missing a treat.
Food good but I don't like the new ordering process. Its going to take awhile for me to get used to placing an order, paying, and then seating yourself...not to mention no more servers waiting tables. So you gotta get up and get your own refills....smh
My first time at that location. I was very pleased the food was fresh hot and delicious. Received my food in a timely manner and the cashier could have been new but she's good. Will be back.
Meh. It's been a year or so since I've been here. No more table service. Have to ask for any/all condiments...even salt and pepper. No more cheese biscuit baskets while you wait for food. My pork sandwich was full of fat and didn't chew. Every table around us was empty and full of dirty dishes, so nothing was being bussed at the weekday lunch hour. I get that staffing is hard to come by these days, hopefully it gets better. The newer asthetics (paint/photos/etc...) are nice.
Food was very good. Not a fan of the new setup for ordering and service. We left a nice tip when ordering and all the server did was bring food to the table. I’d suggest letting customers come to counter and get their own food and eliminate the tip option upon paying. Also, we always enjoyed the fine ice in drinks which has been replaced by cubes. It would also be nice to get more than 2 cheese biscuits. That’s pretty chincy in my book, especially since the two of us dropped almost $50 for the meal.
Pork was mushy & 20% fat. No service whatsoever in dining area. At least 8 employees on site & no other customers! What gives? I won't be back!
Awful service, beyond rude employees. Do not know how this location stays in business. DO NOT EAT HERE
