We went around 8PM on a Wednesday night in July. There was a bit of a wait (1 hour), but it was worth it. There is so much to choose from, and the serving sizes are huge! There is a little water area that the kids can run around in while waiting. I would like to commend the manager working the night we went. He made sure the customers were taken care of while ensuring his workers weren't overwhelmed. Definitely recommend!

Stopped by The Yard at the request of my children, and I'll be perfectly happy if I never come back. Nice place but prices are a little steep, even for those monstrous milkshakes. I had a simple root beer float I could have made myself for less. The big turn-off was the young lady we witnessed preparing a shake who touched her face and nose with her gloved hand then proceeded to scoop ice cream directly into that gloved hand.

BEST milkshake ever!!!! Long line but fast service. It was worth the money and a MUST do when you are in Gulf Shores!

$58 for two milkshakes and one regular malt. The prices ruin the whole experience. The milkshakes are definitely cool and taste very good. The tables and stools were dirty and uncomfortable. A little buyer's remorse here. My granddaughter enjoyed her shake though. That smile...lol

I was very disappointed in the quality of the ice cream. It definitely was not worth what you pay. Won't be going back there ever.

This place was overrated if you ask me. Our order was messed up twice and I wasn’t even hungry by the time I got my milkshake. The milkshakes are also so rich that you can barely eat half of one. Waste of money if you ask me.

This location is in a mall-ish type of facility away from the cute beach shops and restaurants. There was a line out the door. We had to wait probably an hour for our milkshake but the staff was moving quickly and very friendly. They were short staffed so tables and bathrooms were dirty. Also each milkshake is about $20 so expect to pay as much for a large family dinner if multiple people are getting one… just a heads up. Lastly and on a positive note, the milkshakes are pretty amazing and you get to keep the jar as a souvenir.

Our second time here and now our last. Staff was very rude. Everyone had to pick something different due to being out of most things we wanted. Order was wrong and when we asked for the correct sundae staff gave us a hard time. For $17 a sundae we will try somewhere new next time.

The best thing about this place was the aesthetics. It has a very cute, farmhouse look to it and the milkshakes are definitely picture-worthy! That’s where it ended though. We didn’t think the milkshakes were all that great (the jar contents tasted pre-made…so smooshed up frozen cake just tasted weird) and it was SO expensive ($47 for two shakes and bottled waters). We are glad we checked it off the list to say we have tried it, but we didn’t think it was worth the hype at all.

Great experience here and a bucket list trip for sure! The milkshakes are so deliciously extravagant that you almost need to share. Almost. You get to keep your souvenir pint glass when you order your milkshake, and they even have a cleaning station for you to clean it up before you leave! So many options to choose from including vegan and edible cookie dough as well.
