Nice clean smoke free bar! I didn't eat food but it smelled great and i saw multiple delivery orders go out so it must be good! This Sweet Water 420 was excellent!Update! This is now my Go To bar for yummy food and cold beverages ? Everything I've tried here is excellent ? Servers and the Owner are very attentive and very welcoming? Love that they have live music everynight! I was having a rough night and one of the servers came up to me out of no where and said in the most sincere way "I hope you have a really wonderful weekend" It actually made me feel much better!
I’m not a drinker, and I don’t like live music over dinner, so The Cove hasn’t really been on my radar despite living in the area for a long time. After another local burger joint was unexpectedly closed the day I wanted to visit, I figured this would finally be the time to check it out. And you know what? I regret waiting so long. This is a SOLID good burger, and highly customizable, too. Not only that, but the interior is pretty welcoming despite being a dimly lit bar. The servers are all pretty great, too.I’ve also had the chance to sample the Chicken Philly and it was surprisingly good, too. The hoagie roll was nicely toasted and top quality bread! Even the sweet tea, which could have been a total afterthought, was strong and sweet. The sauces are all house-made, and the spicy mayo is a good thing for fry-dipping.Not sure how it will be after dark, but during the early evening, the dining area had quite a few families and tourists, so it’s definitely family friendly.Best of all, the food wasn’t overpriced to gouge this tourists! This is a good deal and worth seeking out whether you’re a local or just visiting. In an area with a lot of good burgers, this is definitely right up there among the best.
This is a low-key off the strip bar/restaurant with love music and an outside area. The service was excellent, our waitess was super-nice and the food amazing. We had a great evening! Thank you much.
We ate here while on vacation, and it was pretty good. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a blackened chicken wrap. (See pictures) The burger was good, but the wrap was very tasty. It was $38 for the two with two Cokes.
The food was excellent and I would of given it at least a 5 star review but the people that waited on us acted like we were a burden and were not very friendly. I don't know if someone pissed in their Cheerios before we got there? The man that waited on us was bald and I think he was possibly the owner but he had such a scowl on his face like he sucked on a sour lemon. He was possibly a Democrat because they are always unhappy and on the brink of suicide. However the food was delicious.
Had a great summer evening on the patio on the back. Buffalo wings were ?, as was the rest of our food (Cove Burger and Philly cheese steak). More importantly, we had the sweetest server. Definitely 10/10.
We were there for the fantastic local band, 5:50 Express, as well as to have dinner. I had the Cove burger and my husband had the chicken wrap. Both meals were delicious, fresh, and prepared perfectly. My husband likes that the Cove offers on-tap beer! And, of course, 5:50 Express was on top of their game, as usual!The owner, Mike, does one of the best and most efficient jobs I've seen in local restaurants (especially on a holiday weekend!) of seating people! ?
My wife and I were only in town for the night, and we picked The Cove after reading their menu online. We got some of the pork rinds, an order of stuffed Avocado, and each got the hearts of romaine. The rinds were good, could have used a little more flavor for us, but keep in mind we still finished them all. I'm not an Avocado fan, but that was freaking delicious.Now the salad. Neither of us had even heard of a grilled salad before. I like salad, sometimes I will eat just a salad. But now, I'm not sure if I can ever look at a salad the same. I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how their really taste. Seriously. When we got home, one of our adult sons was there. He jokingly asked "what did y'all bring me" when he saw our to- go box. I literally told him I would shoot him over those "leftovers", then offered him a bite so that he would understand. After only 2 chews he decided that it would be worth it and went back for more. I'm really going to miss him.
We had the best server, Danielle! The food was great for some of us. I absolutely loved the blackened chicken stuffed avocado!! It was amazing. The blackened chicken wrap was good. The burger was good too. The fried shrimp appetizer was great and I normally do not eat shrimp. Great atmosphere!!
This is legit the best hamburger I have ever ate!! The house made potato chips are also phenomenal! I highly recommend The Cove and you will not regret eating here. My only regret is I didn’t find out about it sooner. We also had the philly steak and cheese and it was delicious! Service was great and food was spectacular! Live music and a laid back atmosphere make this place a must try!
