Food was so good, we ate there twice during our stay. They are short staffed just like every place in this Country, but they make up for it with their food, it was phenomenal! Perfection takes a little time and some patience!
Sassy Bass is amazing! We had a family of 18 and the adults visited almost everyday of our vacation. Great food and atmosphere! The staff was so fun and manager Kevin was the absolute best! Margaritas were 10/10! Definitely will be back!!

Food was great. Our server, Nova, was very rude and this was not during the dinner rush. Showed up at 4 PM with the grandparents. Got charged twice on a $300 bill. Will be going back tomorrow to handle it. Hopefully the manager has better customer service than what we received tonight.
Walked in. Got there early. Nice young man sat us down. Very nice server. Took our picture. Also took a selfie with her in it. Fried Cheese appetizers very good. Sea bass. Good. Mahi mahi good. Will go back for sure.
First of all, the man that works in the shop attached to the restaurant does not need to be working with the public. He was beyond rude. He seemed completely miserable. The staff in the restaurant was friendly but the food was disappointing. My fish was cold and bland. Two of the items we asked about on the menu weren't available. We won't be going back. Waste of money.
We stayed just a few doors down from Sassy Bass for the week and it became our spot! Fabulous breakfast buffet, awesome to pop in with kiddos in the morning. Even more amazing (like really wonderful) dinner! We had shrimp and grits multiple places, this was by far the best. Award winning for a reason! Fish fry was also wonderful, perfectly cooked fish not Over fried or too salty. Oysters were also some of the best and most fresh we encountered while in the area. Staff is all amazing, friendly, and great at what they do. Just go!
We ended up eating here a couple days during our stay in Fort Morgan. Not only was it the most convenient restaurant if you're staying out in the peninsula it was probably the best food of our trip. The sea bass was exceptional, the Gouda cheese balls were delicious, and the fried shrimp was tasty. The start was pleasant and the service was good. Overall, both visits were a great experience.
I have been going here for almost a decade but the manager at the store around 5:45 pm on May 29, 2022 made it clear he does not value customers or children so I would strongly advise everyone take their business elsewhere if you care about being treated like decent humans. Don’t waste your money on their overpriced goods and shop somewhere else that cares about their customers
We had a large group of 15 and 7 were little kids 6 and under. The wait staff was great and even brought the kids’ food out first which was terrific. All the adults loved their entrees and beverages, too. It has a fun casual atmosphere. I’d definitely go back!
