great place. friendly service ..
Great place. Great view….. great employees. Friendly and fun! …….
Service was extremely slow and it wasn’t that busy. Food was mediocre at best. My husband and I asked for extra sauce for our poboys since there was barely a drizzle on them and were charged .50 each, then because we had a party of 6 they charged us an 18% gratuity and the waitress didn’t exactly do much to deserve that. Very disappointing experience. This was our first time there as well as our last. I spent $80 for 3 sandwiches….
Small, vintage burger and beach bar appropriately on the beach.First time visit and was satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. Enjoyed some chargrilled oysters (slightly over charred) and a blackened grouper sandwich (on a bun like a good beach sandwich).Despite a wait of 45 minutes, it was worth it.Staff was friendly and attentive despite the full and very busy restaurant.Recommend stopping by when you visit Gulf Shores.
It’s been about 30 years since I walked up the ramp to the Pink Pony to get an adult beverage. And it’s still the same!! It was a blast from the past. So awesome! I don’t remember the food being so good. Maybe it’s because when I was younger I didn’t have time for food at the beach! But the fish basket was really, really good! The service was amazing. The waitress was on point. Truly a place that you must visit!
I really hate writing this review because I’ve been eating at the Pink Pony for years. It’s a Gulf Shores institution, but our last visit was very unsatisfactory. The biggest issue was how long we waited to get our food. We went for lunch. My husband and I ordered the huge chicken nachos to share & my 6-year-old wanted chicken fingers. It took an hour to receive our food. Now, it was Memorial Day weekend but they weren’t even full at the time. I have been during Hangout Fest when it was just as crowded & received our order in a timely manner. We debated over whether to cancel our order Then, once our food did arrive, it wasn’t very good. It seems like they changed their loaded nachos ingredients. They used to have so many toppings, but not this time. We thought the food was just ok. My husband was pretty disappointed because we order these huge nachos every year. He said we wouldn’t be back next year.
Great food older bar . Had construction going on so we had a hard time finding it but found it to be enjoyable very large nachos and good crab cakes
This place was okay. Cute & fun atmosphere, decent food but nothing too really brag about. The operating hours on Google are correct, not the website. While our server was friendly & pleasant, after we got our food we didn't see him but maybe right after to ask how we liked our food (but he checked on us plenty before we received our food). It wasn't until my husband & I started killing time on our phones did he come by with the check.
Was unsure how the food would be upon coming into the place but was pleasantly surprised. Nice location on the beach. Basic folding tables and chairs for seating and they have a bar. Grilled fish was good. Had a few decent craft beers and a variety of other mixed drinks. Our server was attentive.
Wonderful view of the ocean!!!!!!!!!Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were good.I would highly recommend the pasta,it was amazing.I was a little disappointed in the kale ? salad because the top looked really good but as I soon realized the middle and down way ICEBERG lettuce. Really:0. Im paying for Kale ?. They will get you on that so be careful. I will post pics
