Okay now, my expectations were very high considering we had to wait and hour and a half to eat. It was NOT worth my time. How can you be a whole seafood place and your seafood has no flavor. Absolutely BLAND, salt and pepper could help it. The waiter talked to much saying they were the number one place to eat. Really Sir?? Never again, I probably at 10% of that food and could not do any more. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!
Delicious appetizers, entrees, & drinks. Service was good, even though they were shorthanded. Roger, our waiter, was very hospitable.Suggest All you can eat meals. Worth every penny and not expensive at all. Fair prices on all food items.Keep your souvenir Mikee's cup if you order a mixed drink??.
A local hole in the wall. Not a bad place to grabb some grubb. Not a good waiting area and the parking is even worse. Oh my, order the homemade mozzarella cheese sticks. These things were phenomenal, just about a meal by itself.
I've never wrote a negative review. I figure everyone has a bad day. So when our disinterested waiter was only interested in the table of foreign girls next to us, I understood. I was young once. When the drinks we ordered never showed up but were still on our bill, I rolled with it. When the waiter dropped 2 containers of cocktail sauce in my lap I figured, stuff happens. When the oysters my son in law ordered as an appetizer didn't arrive until my wife and daughter were in the car, I thought no big deal. BUT when half of my grouper meal, and my wife's, turned out to be chicken strips instead of fish, I thought I gotta say something. Been eating grouper since 1981. It does not taste like chicken. I guess mikees figures tourists can't tell the difference.
We enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent! Service was excellent! We will visit again when we return to Gulf Shores.
My mom said her friend loves to eat here when they visit the gulf.We decided to give it a try after leaving somewhere with a 2 hour wait.I’m so glad we did.The wait was 30 minutes. We had a place to sit and wait.One thing I didn’t like was that they only had a high top available for us which would be fine but a member of our party had a bad knee but it wasn’t too bad.We ended up getting fried green tomatoes for an app.They were great with a good roumelade sauce.I ordered the blackened red fish and it was outstanding.The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about is that the lighting was super dark.Really enjoyed our food.We will be coming back.
We come to Mikee's everytime we're in Gulf Shores! Sometimes twice! I always get the blackend shrimp! It's my favorite shrimp I've ever had!! If you need a LARGE appetizer, get the fried Mozzarella! HUGE! This place is a MUST go!

Nice casual beachy restaurant. Lots of fried seafood options. Red beans and rice was wonderful. Many options for the kiddos! Gets VERY crowded. Go early if you can. Excellent service—the staff works really hard.
Every time we come here it is delicious. We started off our dinner with the best seafood dip ever. We also got the New Orleans style bread and it was to die for. Then we all got a little something different from the fried seafood platter, to coconut shrimp, to two blackened red fish with shrimp and crab sauce, it was all so yummy. I would definitely tell everyone to come here!!
